The 21st of December marks the first day of winter, and that means the Snowy Owl will finally spawn in Winterspring!

This pet is a requirement to complete Kalimdor Safari, so if you're missing this one, head on over and catch that pet.

Thanks for the reminder. I had one of these but it wasn't the breed I wanted and your post prompted me to get my butt to Winterspring!

there is a winter one in the storm peaks, northrend but it actually has to be snowing. i had to leave a 70 alt there and log in every few hours to check. Arctic Fox Kit. also don't forget to grab a Globe Yeti from the giant snowglobe in orgrimmar (idk what is in stormwind), before winter's veil ends. it isn't always there, so keep an eye out. the arctic fox kit can spawn during the whole year, not just in the winter time

And the Globe Yetis is covered in the Winter Veil article. It spawns in Ironforge for Alliance :)
