But on that try, it was the two mechanical drilling pets as backup, and it sounds like we should just quit and retry when that's the case. it didn't work for me today with rocket chicken and drilling machine as backup pets, but to be fair i run this strat all the time and barely had any issues, so i'd say i was just unlucky but if you are looking for a unfaliable strat this is not one (edited)

I've done it twice (no script), once Bog Beast nearly solo'd it and the 2nd time every last pet of mine died and I lost. It's pretty strongly dependent on something, crits or species of what you have vs I guess.

Failed on mechanicals BUT what worked for me was:
IKKY - Black Claw -> Flock (Roach dies)
Swap to RAVENOUS PRIDELING
Spam Seethe
Use Exchange life when 3rd mechanical comes in

Failure could be tied to what random pets show up for the battle. I did this and faced a Cockroach, a Cockroach, and a Gnomish Rocket Chicken. My H/S Tiny Bog Beast was able to solo the fight.

I'm on the fail boat with this one. There does seem to be either a requirement for a breed or low crits or something similar. Will investigate further, but it has failed three weeks in a row. Running H/H, S/S, H/P (edited)

Awesome strat. H/P Tiny Bog Beast soloed the Cockroach, with a 2nd Roach and a Mechanical as backline pets. Bog Beast had 80 HP left.

As far as I can tell there isn't a high rate of failure--they don't just do Staff Picks without testing the strats themselves--and I've made some changes to the script.

Didn't make it through the fight. But thanks to all the suggestions below I was able to set up another team with the Golden Civet, Amberbarb Wasp and a Cat with the suggested moves and we were victorious!

I strongly suggest a Golden Civet as the first pet (or something similar); mine was a S/S breed with Gnaw and Dive - it must be faster than the Cockroach. Use Dive as first ability - this way the Apocalypse will miss and you have a lot less pressure! (that Apocalypse is nerve wracking, if you ask me :D) And Gnaw does great damage to Critters too.

Awesome strat, I got 3 cockroaches, used dive on the first turn for each cockroach to avoid the apocalypse, Golden Civet almost soloed it, just had to bring in Mr Bigglesworth at the end to finish off the last roach.

FYI: to avoid hardcoding those `enemy.type` conditions, you can use the more readable and semantically better `ability(Frost Nova:414) [ self.ability(Frostnova:414).strong ]`.

I did not have the Tiny Bog leveled so I used:
Chrominius 1,1,1
He took out the First Cockroach, and then for 2nd pet it was Cockroach so he finished that off and last pet was mechanical so I brought in Mr. B and followed ur strat from there.
