That dragon is a really lightheaded fellow. I don't think he ever stands still for just a second. Not even for a screenshot!

Only works for me if I also remember to dodge BEFORE whiskers burrows the second time, as it has speed on my teroclaw by that stage in the fight. Excellent and safe XP for your carry pet though!

Well into SL and this is still my favorite strategy to level alts and pets in the MOP Aki the Chosen daily. I think this strat has only failed me max 4-5 times out of 100. It's quick, efficient and I haven't encountered a significant risk with RNG. Thanks, Bernedain!

This didn't work for me today either. My S/S Zandalari Anklerender does not kill Stormlash in 2 Alpha Strikes - it took 3. I had a P/P Zandalari Anklerender that I swapped for instead, and that worked. May need to update the strategy to be breed-specific? (edited)

Didn't work for me today at all. The teroclaw didn't kill stormlash in 2 alpha strikes, and the tail sweep from dragonkin left teroclaw at either 70 hp or dead. My teroclaw is p/b and anklerender is s/s.

I swapped out my anklerender s/s for a kneebiter p/p and the strategy worked as intended. Don't know why.

By accident I forgot to change the first ability on the Anklerender to Bite, but figured I would give it a try with 1) Black Claw followed by 2) Hunting Party. And whaddayano it worked! Anklerender stayed alive long enough to put Black Claw on Stormlash and the rest of the fight went flawlessly. Thanks for the strat!

For your comment to be useful, you need to say WHY it's not working, WHAT is noy happening as expected.

Ideally, you want to keep the log of the failed battle and show it here so people can adjust, if needed, or find workarounds.

You need to say which breed you were using, where relevant, or if you were using a substitute species.

Without that information, nobody can use, or even believe, your comment.

You don't actually need an addon. You can screenshot the pet battle log, which is what I used to do.

Pet Battle Log Keeper addon works perfectly well for me, though I do have to convert the text log manually when I paste it.

Well, you can't save the log without an addon, but you can drag its layer out of the chat box, enlarge it, and make a screenshot. I used to do that before Pet Battle Log Keeper addon, but tha addon is much better! (edited)

I updated the TD script today to address a situation where a Surge critical hit would drop your Teroclaw Hatchling below 50% and he would lose the speed advantage. The script wouldn't adapt and would use Dodge after being hit by Dive. This might be the problem you were having.

I don't know whether this still affects the Teroclaw version, and I don't feel like doing an analysis on the basis of a blank "didn't work" report.

It's always exciting to find a new strategy! My first try with this one took Whiskers to 1 HP with only my L1 left in play. There's either a little RNG involved or I made a mistake in following the instructions. Either way, I lost that battle. On the second effort, however, it worked perfectly. Thanks to all concerned!
