As i was trying to figure out the rotation in the battle, i made some errors along the way, but i was still able to solo the whole fight with the Wisp, especially considering that your backline is long dead by the time Mr. Spore dies. Not sure if the enemy backline is the same each time, but i had 2 Aquatics (Soothy & Deviate Chomper) and my Wisp made easy pickings out of those once you get the rotation down. anyone know how we could adjust the script so that if we are just fighting one of the back line and the boss is dead and we have plenty of health it doesn't do another round of whirlpool/healing stream before damaging when a single damaging attack would have finished the fight?

Something like this should work, but it's difficult to test in the sim because the backline pets aren't in there.

I did this based on 3 Tidal Wave hits, (108 x 3), since Whirlpool would hit at the end of the 3rd round, if that makes sense.

If you test it and something doesn't work quite right, let me know what the circumstances were and how it went wrong and I'll make adjustments.

Thank you!!! Amazing strategy! I was using a frog and snails for backline which was reliable. However, this method is more efficient on time. Tidal Wave eliminates the backlines and I was surprised to see how resilient Syd is. Cheers Syd!!!!!

Had ridiculous lag when doing this, so I was happy this strat is so straight forward. I put H/H shore crab and an elekk plushie as the backline and they could have probably gone a second time lol

I just soloed this with Syd. But my Pandaren Water Spirit, just over 1500 didn't make it. Luckily I put in a H/H Brightscale Hatchling (over 1900 health) and it had no problem withstanding the assault. And I was nervous because Syd got down to 29HP before I took out the guy! I'd almost think I could use a Plushie as my 3rd Pet, just need it to survive. (edited)

The TD scripted was a fail, for unborn Val as it used Unholy with first turn, so I lost my unborn val and it was downhill from there. I'm assuming the strat is sound but the TD Script needs to be reworked, lost the match.

Might be the 'any aquatic' part. Dreadful breath starts to hurt when the backline pets are dead, which can happen if you use pets with weak HP stats and the spore gets a few lucky shots.

So ideally you want to use high HP aquatic pets there.

i use 2 H/H crabs >1800 HP that never have died or been needed. Tidal Wave counters most of the boss damage (mushrooms)

17 rounds (total) when the boss is dead, one of the back line pets comes in with 23 HP and the other comes in with 91 HP isn't really taking that long.

If you want this fight over quickly you use Ikky(1,1,1). Last time I tried this the fight felt like it took FOREVER. I should probably add I use a pocket cannon(1,2,1) and a Dream Whelp(1,2,2) for dealing with the backline. Pocket cannon can demolish beast and flying as well as it has a lot of health.

For those without Syd, a jungle darter 1 1 1 works. Just Frog Kiss on cooldown, and heal when needed.

I second this comment. I did the boss with a level 23 uncommon Jungle Darter, Pretty easy, just bring level 25 beasts as backup pets so they don't die to AOE.

This worked with a Tiny Green Carp! My ikky was dead, my Syd underleveled, but with Water Jet/ Healing Stream /Whirlpool and two crabs with arcane moves in the back in case of backline fliers the fish was able to solo the encounter! I know it's a rare pet, but confirming it's viability!

Healing Stream only works on aquatic pets, so they will be healed and not die to Dreadful Breath from the boss. Any other pet classes would either die or be very low.

But that is kinda irrelevant as i've never had Syd the Squid die in this fight, also Syd uses Tidal Wave and that kills both deviate flappers, or at the very least get them so low they only require 1 hit to die.

I think you must have made a mistake somewhere, since Syd has soloed the fight for me 100% of at least 20 tries.

This strat worked great for me even with low hp aquatics, but I can see how putting two high HP turtles in the backup slots can be helpful (they're only there to soak aoe dmg since Syd can solo it all, so their abilities don't matter).

	GCSuns	I chose Gnashtooth and a baubleworm as the secondary pets but any high health Beast types should work. I soloed the whole fight with a P/P Bubbling Pustule. Qualsiasi Mascotte Qualsiasi Mascotte	Raindawn	This is not my strategy, i probably read the suggestion to use the Hyjal Wisp on Wowhead, but as of recently i started using this site more for strats, and i was surprised not to see it on the list. As i was trying to figure out the rotation in the battle, i made some errors along the way, but i was still able to solo the whole fight with the Wisp, especially considering that your backline is long dead by the time Mr. Spore dies. Not sure if the enemy backline is the same each time, but i had 2 Aquatics (Soothy & Deviate Chomper) and my Wisp made easy pickings out of those once you get the rotation down. My Wisp was S/S, but i'm not sure it really matters in this fight, it took me 33 Rounds.	RNG	2	2.3	N/A	0	150 2:30	25+
