So just a heads up, unless I'm doing something wrong, there does not seem to be any pets that go in the #3 slot that have the right amount of power or speed to counteract Roots casting Brezza Autunnale. A PP Voidskimmer is too slow, a PS Voidskimmer doesn't one-shot Roots. Same problem goes for Freshwater Crawler, and I don't have Patos but based on it's stats it likely wouldn't one-shot either. So yeah, I can't see a way to avoid being under the affects for Autumn Breeze during at least one of the key attacks, and from all of my attempts with this (around 30-ish), every time a Miss happens against Roots, the fight is a bust.

So yeah, I think this does need the RNG tag. I'm happy to be wrong about this but that's how I'm seeing it. It's still a good strat and it's quick. When I miss with Freshwater Crawler (PP), typically I'll concede and start over without using a bandage and he usually has enough health to get through the full fight again, so at least there's that. Okay so after some experimenting I believe I've found a solution. Basically, after the Pump damage on Sunny, use the 1st part of Pump again. It means your water pet will take a big damage hit but it will survive(barring a crit). Then you use Water Jet to finish off Sunny. Roots comes in and part 2 of Pump is already ready to go. You hit that, and either one-shot him with a P/P pet, or just barely kill him with a P/S pet and finish him with a Water Jet. The rest of the fight goes on as normal.

This has only been tested with a Voidskimmer (P/S) and a Freshwater Crawler (P/P). The Freshwater Crawler is better in my experience.

If anybody knows how to write pet battle scripts and wants to put this together that'd be awesome.

Without using a #3 pet above 315 Power will likely result in Roots getting off Brezza Autunnale, strat will still work with alternatives but could add up to 4 rounds.
I've verified the rounds to 13+ to allow for this change.

I've also removed the Breed selections as this was causing the alternatives to show as "uncertain" (edited)
