It works IF ice tomb doesn't end up killing Tempe. If Tempe dies and the moth comes in at the start of a turn the moth will kill Xu-Fu before he can cast Moonfire, which happened my first attempt somehow. Second try worked fine.

changed out tarachnid for feline familiar prowl then call of darkness then swap to snowfang and carry on with dragons pattern

I had to turn off the game and walk away, the RNG is so bad it feels like the game is cheating. when it is like this i genuinely wonder why i bother paying the subscription, that was an hour+ of the least enjoyable game time i can ever recall spending. i work all day, i just want a little bit of fun, but this wasnt it. Script might be off. Turn 5 Xu-Fu cast Prowl, Turn 6 swapped back to Snowfang. Did the fight manually and it worked. (editado)

the strat suggested by soulxchange finally worked for me, but it was close! Both backline pets were dead and Xu-Fu was down to 240 hp when Tempe died.

I didn't have the proper breed for my Tarachnid Stalker, so I settled for an Aranita de Chihong with [2/2/2] Cuspe Venenoso, Teia Quebradiça and Enxame de Aranitas. It worked just fine. :D

This didn't work for me the first time. Tempe didn't use Conflagrate on my Snowfang, so he used it on XuFu. Lol.
