Won battles with both a PS and SS Snake. I needed first hit on several rounds, so I would not recommend any snake that is lower than speed 267. Make sure your 3rd pet abilities is not weak against Flyers....just in case you need it.

I am still annoyed this fight received no tuning, especially given the combination of abilities + stats, but such is pet battling. Pet Sim has this new comp at ~ 88 % success rate. Best of luck. |

I tried three times, using a H/P Spiketail Beaver, and lost all three, but narrowly. I can believe that if I kept at it, RNG would eventually be on my side just once, and I would get a win.
It's a rough battle for beasts. I see other strats using Feline Familiar and Xu-Fu, and they will be very effective with their Prowl + Nuke combo, but if you don't have them, it's hard to find good match-ups.
Lurking Owl Kitten is very good in the first slot. Good choice, and good usage, there! The other two are harder.
I'm not sure the Bash maneuver helps. It brings Dustie in, but then Scabby has nothing strong against flying, and doesn't last long, and you have a half-health Tempe still to follow on the back line. I tried it without the Bash, and did about as well.
I do believe that it will occasionally work, but I think you should add an "RNG" tag to the strat, since it isn't near-100% successful.
