I would reiterate the comments of others here: Swap out Breath for Tail Sweep for pets 1 & 2.

Why? Tail Sweep does static damage, instead of variable like Breath, and gets a bonus when your pet is slow, which all the pets here will be slower than the enemies.

Also I would not use sandstorm a second time, even if it comes up again -- the decreased hit chance made howl miss, and nearly derailed the whole strat. I managed to pull through only with extremely lucky RNG after that, and Chrominius surviving with 4 hp to cast surge of power.

Bronze Proto-whelp solo'd the entire battle. Sandstorm on CD if it would deal full damage, otherwise Tailstrike if slower.

Swap Breath to Tail Strike if your pet is slower. More damage on average will make it more consistent.
