I just tried twice, and it didn't happen. Worked perfectly both times.

You will be applying your second Shield in Round 6, so you're saying Scorch killed the Crawdad in R7.

I haven't gone through all the permutations, especially since Scorch's Holy Strike has a wide damage range, but I'm not seeing how this happened.

With all high hits but no crits, the Crawdad will take 285+177+391+391+391+177=1812 damage just before its Shell Shield gets refreshed in R6, but I don't see how you got past R4 without casting Wish, which would then have added 1800+ HP in R5.

You might have cast Wish in R3 if you took 2 or 3 crits, but again I don't see how Wish doesn't supply more than enough of a heal to carry you through R7 (and beyond!)

Are you sure you cast Wish in Round 3 or 4?

That's really odd, did anything get clipped from the script when you copied/pasted it in? Make sure that "use(Shell Shield:310) [ self(Magical Crawdad:132).aura(Shell Shield).duration<=1 ]" definitely has the <=1 at the end, otherwise it will just loop shield.

EDIT: I just re-imported as a fresh team/script and it works fine for me. Try deleting or overwriting the team and script.

Thanks for the response :), I thought I had copied the script properply but maybe I was wrong, I'll test again ! (the <=1 was there for sure, first thing I looked ^^)

Ok so I figured it out. It only works when the game is set in english. I'm sorry if it's basic knowledge, I'm new to using scripts. Every other script I used had no mention of the pet battle name so they worked fine even with localized names.

I edited the script to
use(Shell Shield:310) [self.aura(Shell Shield:309).duration<=1]
use(Wish:273) [self.hp<1400]
use(Surge:509)
and it seems to work as intented even when the client is in french, eliminating the name of the pet and differentiating the buff & spell shell shield. I have no idea why the game confuses the two in french lol but the self aura didn't work without ID specified for the buff. I tried using the french name for the pet but no luck so got rid of it since it wasn't really needed for this specific fight. It's weird but I got it working so thanks for the script anyway !

The strat is a bit on the slower side, but works nicely. So does the Script. Funny that the 2 backline pets actually die without even stepping foot into the fight, while the Crawdad just slowly chops away till he wins :)
