This works but is super vulnerable to RNG.
For example, a potent crit on Macabre Marionette in a wrong moment will enable Dragon racial earlier, rendering it roasted before Comet can die.
The difference between D&D and no D&D for Cosmos is ~70-100 HP.
The Arcane Blasts hurt a lot and often enough to see a crit in a very few attempts.

There's no difference in number of rounds between B/B and H/H Val'kyr, so I'd pick B/B.
(The original didn't suggest any ability in particular. While Shadow Shock has a bigger variance, it also has a bigger baseline to compensate.)

I even tried replacing Marionette with some critters but that would make it only more complicated, and as this is a strat from Wowhead I prefer not to overwrite the steps too much. (edited)

This is indeed fixed if Macabre's first move is Death and Decay. It's as if someone forgot to put it in the script. Not only it makes the timings better but it also gives a big chunk of damage to 2 enemy pets. (edited)

This worked for me today in 9.0.5

Naxxy was switched out to Unborn Val'kyr by Cosmos before Drain Blood could hit, but it all still ended up being okay.

Thank you!!!!! I have tried so many strats and this is the only one that worked for me.

The strat as written works, but the TD Script has an error - during Cosmos, it switches out the Unborn Val'kyr before it dies. So there is one fewer hit from Naxxy on Cosmos than needed. Thus I'd suggest not using the TD Script and just following the instructions above, which work great with an H/H Unborn Valk.

Now, that said, there was some RNG at play - my Marionette's rez phase actually took him into the Cosmos fight, so I got one round of Dead Man's Party on him, making this easier. But I am 90% sure it would have worked anyway without that round, albeit with a little less HP on my team. (edited)

I have updated the script now into something that might work, although I can't be 100% sure as I can't reproduce this fight to test it. If anyone does, let me know if there are still problems.

4	CodeM0nkey#1694	Strategy by Hajaj: Link Tested on 9.0.2 and it worked the first time. One Wowhead comment indicates that it may not be 100% guaranteed. It's possible other breeds (P/B) may work for Infected Squirrel, but I've only tested with H/P. Mod Note (2021-12-29): P/B Scoiattolo Infetto is very vulnerable to crits, but given no obstacles will perform the same. For consistency with the source, the requirement stays. 6	Loolie#1812	This strategy was based on Cataerei's strat for this fight (also listed in the alternatives here). I could not get it to work as written, so this is the strategy I used. It is very similar to Cataerei's strat, and I would not have defeated this w/o having his/hers as a baseline. The original doesn't quite work post 9.0, however, so give this one a shot. It's been tested by several other people, as well, so I hope it's helpful. You can use any Zandalari Raptor with Black Claw and Hunting Party, but it MUST be a P/P breed. Your 3rd pet can be any pet with Decoy, but use the one with the most Health for best result. 11	Tock#1121	I was having absolutely no luck with every other strategy available, so came up with this. *Be forewarned: this is extremely RNG based AND* extremely long.** Shimmerbough solos (or near solos) Comet, then the 2 EPWs are rotated by Cosmos, healing constantly and getting in an occasional hit, with Apocalypse doing all the work for Constallatius. Shimmer will rotate between keeping Comet stunned and blinded and dealing damage while he's blinded. Once we get into the EPW rotation, you need to be both patient and greedy: He heals with starfall which would normally be negligible, but we're attacking so infrequently that it is significant. Once Cosmos dies (FINALLY!), you're home free. Just stay healed and wait for Apocalypse to kill Constellatius.	RNG Difficile	2	0.0	0	9999999-	-
