In most matches this is the best pet to start the fight with since

Fumi Tossici buffs the other two pets. Anomalus' strength lies within the great synergies of it's own abilities.

Fumi Tossici has a huge value; it is a buff to almost every other ability in this team. Once this weather is active you should apply

Protocollo Velenoso. After that you could swap to one of the other pets if you think you can bring Anomalus back in later and use this combo again.

Salto Mortale all'Indietro on a fast pet like this is great; if you are faster you practically gain a free round (also good for the humanoid racial). If there is a dangerous combo going on with the enemy pet which can be interrupted I'd definetely keep
