Right now the final boss is extremely vulnerable to damage "reflecting" shields, so Tinytron with two of them shines in this fight. I apply Shattered Defenses (damage taken increased by 100%) with Flock and then force the Tinytron swap by using a pet with higher health in slot#3.
You can replace Ikky with any other pet that can apply Shattered Defenses for 2 rounds (Stampede, Swarm, Inflation etc. but not Hunting Party!) with speed 295+ This team & strat is part of my Emperor Crab & Soul of the Forge challenge run. I tried to use a very limited number of no super rare pets who usually survive multiple fights. Start & Description |

It's very simple: Get a Stampede pet that is faster than the boss and then a second pet with Lightning Shield, that has lower health than the third pet, so it gets swapped in when the boss does his first attack. |

This is my favorite team against mechanicals. They're also a great team for pet pvp and for leveling pets (load the Gift of Winter's Veil in the third spell slot). They're super cheap in the Auction House (on my server, at least!) if you didn't manage to get them during the holiday event. Totally worth burning a stone to rarify them!

First pet can be any pet with Stampede or Flock (Ikky for example). Just needs to be faster than the enemy. Second and third pet need Lightning Shield, third pet needs to have higher max HP than the second one and Stampede.

This fight is one of the easiest in the whole dungeon, but it can be tricky at times. Just play around his abilities, and have high speed pets to make sure you get your abilities off before his. I see a lot, and I mean a lot using fire shield, or lightning shield. These work just as well, but I wanted a different approach. Hopling is great because of his speed, and ikky is a staple in any pet collectors arsenal. I have 3 max leveled because why not! Thanks again.

Although... strangely enough I went at it a 3rd time after switching chars to heal and it worked! Bling uses inflation, gets swapped for Electrified Razortooth who uses Lightning Shield. Boss smacks itself several times, goes down. Revives. Here's where things changed from before the pre-patch (pre-pre-patch, if you will): The razortooth got a Rip out (to set up blood in the water should it survive long enough), then the boss proceeded to smack itself in the face with my lightning shield and died a second time. :/ (editado)

There's actually no need for that much, to be honest, and certainly no need to add a conditional to change pets. If you aren't too bothered about the animations, you can skip the 1st line entirely, all it does is reduce the time spent watching pointless animations by passing instead of activating ability(#1). All you need to do is make sure your Shield pet has lower hp than your slot #3 pet and this (and every other) Shattered Defenses > Lightning Shield strat is unbeatable.

That would do the same thing.
If you're using a roach, rabbit or bird, just replace the (Inflation:1002) with the corresponding Swarm, Stampede or Flock code.

Thanks for the praise. I really should go back over my strats and adjust them to suit my current roster and the BfA nerf on leveling. If only I could quit my job and spend 10 hours a day on WoW... oh... wait, I have..! Hahahahahahah!!!
