I had the perfect strat for this fight, but it didn't work anymore after Shadowlands. So frustrating! I tried the staff pick strat in here, but it turned out to be not reliable with low level leveling pets. A quick search on wowhead resulted in this perfect strat made by ddb5343. I made a TD script too. It seems to work flawlessly, and it is safe for a level 1 pet. Please let me know if you have issues with it.

Goal was to make an RNG free strat and this has been a success.
Should be 14 turns total. Leveling pet has to survive around 300 elemental damage (240 but just in case of crits 300 is safer). Thanks to DragonsAfterDark for the idea of Anomalus :D |

This is a fast and reliable strategy that allows you to safely boost any level 1 carry pet. It is a variation of the great strategy by the great SaltyGoldfish on YouTube: Wastewalker2pet Originally, he had a S/S Bound Stream in the first slot, but I find the frog to be more reliable.
NOTES: River Frog is P/S, to be faster than Pounder (280). Every once in a while, you might miss a 90% Pump due to Sandstorm, but not "usually." The original Bound Stream will always hit (because it's elemental) but due to its low health and power it doesn't always finish the job. |

I've tested this quite a few times. It hasn't failed for me, but there is always a chance of bad RNG. Make sure that your leveling pet is tough enough to take Pounder's backrow damaging abilities.
P.S. I have no idea how to write the script for this. Sorry. Feel free to comment if you want to write it for me. :) |

Call Darkness is now used on cd and so is Nocturnal Strike whenever weather is Darkness because why not. It does more damage when blinded.

So that's it. Then the Skywisp's Moth moveset was reintroduced with Draenic moths with an exception of Royal Moth that has a certain change. But that isn't important here. :P

Anyway, I played it exactly as specified, and I did win that way, but because of Sandstorm RNG I had two misses, and Pounder killed Chi-Chi, leaving the Tonk to take a knee from Pounder before Mutilator came out. Since Pounder had his Rupture up, the Tonk could have been stunned.
I could have saved Chi-Chi by using an Ethereal, or even a Tranquility, during what you have listed as "Turn 6+. Alpha Strike until Pounder dies". Perhaps a note to that effect might help beginners who follow instructions exactly. OTOH, as I say, it all worked out. :)
