This strategy still works as written in the Shadowlands pre-patch as of November 5th, 2020.

Tried this for the first time today, worked beautifully. Ilways like to level pets even if it's low xp, every little bit helps! Thanks for this :)

Love this! I didn't have a Guardian Cobra Hatchling, so I used a SS Death Adder Hatchling (212) instead, which has the same speed as Mind Warper (so there may be more luck involved with who gets to go first). Instead of using Slither and Bite, use Puncture Wound immediately after any use of Blinding Poison, and Vicious Fang otherwise.

This worked for me flawlessly 1 out of 1 times. I did get lucky on move order during the round where Mind Warper gets blinded, but I don't know how necessary that bit of luck is to the overall success of the strat.

With the WQ up again today, I went back and tried out your version of this strategy (although I used an SS Rose Taipan with the same moves instead) and found it to be very consistent as well. Also, after realizing that Decoy does protect your backline pets from Thunderbolt, I learned that both Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (122) and Mechanical Axebeak (121) can consistently pull off this strategy too.

Thanks for the ideas! Hopefully others who don't have Guardian Cobra Hatchling will be able to see these comments and succeed with alternate pets too :)
