Honestly don't understand why you're using pets that are as recent as one patch ago. These pet battles are possible to do with the older pets as well, pets that are more likely that people have already leveled.

Because they're my strategies, and I got into strategy creation in the first place because of how incredibly boring it is to me to use the same handful of pets for everything. Especially when there are pets that are going to do the fight better and/or faster than those same handful of pets. If that's what others want to do, good for them. They, and you, are welcome to make strategies using those pets, and I'm sure someone will.

It's because these fights are so incredibly easy that I didn't feel the need to make them with anything but the ones I wanted to. The mechasaurs from Undermine are incredible, and I won't be getting to use them much/at all moving forward. At least not in-game.

TRUE!!! The only thing I lose is the time it takes for me to find the Alternative pets. But that's why I like this. Keeps me on my toes. That's for the tips two.

Agreed. I always just skip over the Dragons strats because they use Store Pets and other inaccessible pets rather than simpler, faster strats.

So, out of 2,238 strategies x 3 pets for a full team, 6,714, I have used store pets exactly 0.004% of the time.

Of all 33 times I used them, only 1 was in Midnight. Which means of the 290 strategies x 3 pets for a full team, 870, that's 0.001 percent of the pets I chose. We'll ignore the fights where I have dupes to keep it simple.

*Most* of the other 32 were made after the expansions were already past.

Now, off the top of my head I used 1 unobtainable pet on Orkrut, Watcher of the Huntress, and I even made an alternate strat for people who didn't have it. Though if you know of any others feel free to add them to the total and math it out.

So, 2 pets out of 870 pets I've chosen means 0.002% of the pets for the Old World set are "store" or "unobtainable". My definition is unobtainable are exactly that: you cannot obtain them anymore without excessive IRL wealth or at all. Though I guess if you're counting ones that require a modicum of effort that number might be larger for you. (edited)
