My hatchling died in turn 3 before Tickler died. I brought in Tiny Twister and cast Wild Winds then Flyby and that killed Tickler. Then I was back on track with your strat.

You might want to look and see if the breed makes a difference for the first pet, as schlumpf#2707 mentions above. Or perhaps a note warning the user that the hatchling might die before the second cast of Leech Life.

Good strat that worked for me, just not exactly as written. Thanks for sharing it!

- Relies on critting (and not getting critter) in the first rounds, else your hatchling dies. Might need a specific breed (probably speed > 297?).
- If you're not using a specific ability, keep that slot marked as irrelevant, to allow the site to automatically find alternative pets.
- This script should do your strategy, although I couldn't really test it since my hatchling always died too early. I did manage to finish the fight with pet 3 luckily.
