Quick warning if you are going for the flying battler achievement. Apparently Grem does not give progress towards it as of 9/8/24. According to WoWhead comments, you gain progress towards it when you beat him with the humanoid team.

After beating him with a humanoid team i can confirm that's what gave me credit for the flying battler achievement.
