	Morell#1795	Simple magic dragon setup. Due to identical ability loadouts, Nexus Whelpling and Stormborne Whelpling are interchangeable. In most cases, you won't even need Chrominius, but if Moth Dust puts Nexus Whelpling to sleep on Turn 1, you'll need him to clean up. If you would prefer to restart if Sleep hits, replace the "change" command at the top of your TD Script with the following: quit [self.aura(Asleep:498).exists] Changelog 5/13/21: Posted some refinements to the TD script including a line to additionally cast "Arcane Storm" if "Toxic Fumes" is usable. However, if you do get put to sleep twice, the steps taken will need to be altered slightly - Jeune dragonnet du Rêve can still kill the moth even when put to sleep twice, but will die to the wasp before you can use any attacks. If this happens, bring in your Bébé corbeau de l’effroi to kill the wasp with Call Darkness > Nocturnal Strike > Shadow Talon. I also have tried and lost almost 1/2 dozen times; always fall one turn short on something. Very disappointing. :(

This strategy keeps failing for me, Turn 5 doesn't get off the ground as Needlenose speed 498 exceeds Nexus Whelping's speed

I use https://www.wow-petguide.com/Strategy/9383/Airborne_Defense_Force which is very similar. It's certainly possible for the Nexus to die in round 5, if it was stunned in round 1, and the battle still be winnable, at least with Chrominius as a third pet..

What breed of Nexus are you using?

The third pet here is misleading. It's specified as any Magic pet, but the intention isany pet with Magic damage.

If you have a Chrominius, try it in the third slot. If you don't, consider getting one - it's one of the Most Used Pets https://www.wow-petguide.com/Guide/58/Most_Used_Pets so it will be a good investment!

Nexus Whelpling is PB. Round 1 enemy causes 260-529 damage (tooltip says 353-529) ignoring any attempts that put Nexus Whelpling to sleep (I've been forfeiting those matches, healing and restarting)

When that damage is at the higher end, Nexus Whelpling dies in Round 4, so I don't even get to fire the second Arcane Storm
When that round 1 damage is at the lower end, I can select Arcane Storm in Round 5, but my speed is lower than Needlenose's 498 so he goes first. Nexus Whelpling health is always below 500 at this point, and so when the enemy fires off an attack, the 514 kills Nexus Whelpling.
