The new Winter Veil pet for 2020 makes this fight way less stressful. I think that other than Runehoof stunning Jingles with Headbutt on specifically its first turn, or ridiculous bad RNG with crits, this strat is consistent.
Other Fox pets should work in the first slot, as long as they have 284 or higher Speed to outspeed Runehoof during Dazzling Dance. Just make sure that they don't accidentally kill Slugger before you can switch Jingles in and set up Booby-Trapped Presents Script thanks to NabuArat |

Can sometimes still win if stunned. Some RNG still exists. May need a restart or two. Tested P/P breeds of Baby Ape and Zandalari Anklerender. Unsure of other breeds.

*** Created on Beta, so maybe not final ***
So much RNG in this fight, I'm not happy with the result but at least it's something that looked more promising then other pet combos I tried. So good luck with Runehoof's Stuns/Interrupts and Duster's Moth Balls! *sigh* |

Use your snake with the most power (max is 325 with a P/P Tree Python). The more power your snake has, the less chance your Feline Familiar will need to finish off Runehoof. There's still some RNG from crits, Moth Balls, and getting stunned before you can slow Runehoof.

Very slight RNG on second enemy pet. But this strat should work flawlessy 9 times out of 10.
Enjoy Edit 20/02/21: it seems 50% of people make it work 1st or 2nd time, 50% keep failing. I have tried this multiple times before posting. I guess it just involved more RNG than thought. Yet, I still think it's viable and easy strat with pets easy to find. Edit: 05/04/21 : fox breed adapted to PB thx to Darkrav83's comment Script thanks to Deathrall |

Very long with no RNG.
ANY level 25 beasts with Prismatic Barrier, Ice Barrier, Beaver Dam and the like, work in the first 2 slots. All pets studied has this ability in slot 3, making the provided script usable. (Kovok is likely usable in the pet slot 3, it will just take more time, and changes the script and posted strategy.) |

My Pets -
Moon Moon: P/S Mining Monkey: P/S Xu-Fu: P/P Unsure if worse/better with other breeds. Exceptionally RNG but this is the way I had to do it without the other pets in other strategies. It tends to go pretty well once you get the Howl on Runestag. |

My notes:
- I never needed 3 horn gores to finish off Slugger, only 2
- My Snort never got off more than 1 Horn Gore on Runehoof
- I had to skip Onyx Bite and use Prowl/Darkness else my familiar would die before Call Darkness
At my ~15th attempt Call Darkness crit Runehoof, killing him (he was hit once by Horn Gore). Xu-Fu was able to solo Duster after Familiar dies to the first attack
