At Renown 12 with Loamm Niffen, a quest will be available to turn into Ponzo that will convert Barter Bricks into Barter Boulders (at a 3:1 exchange rate). Turning in this quest will also change all prices of Ponzo's wares from Bricks to require Boulders.
If you are close to 85 Barter Bricks, you can delay turning this quest in.
