Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Used Snowfeather hatchling for the swarm on round one - rest went as advertised.

In SL Prepatch, not sure if I got unlucky, but I really needed my 3rd pet to kill him. 250 health left after the steps in the strat.

Fobya wrote on 2019-12-20 12:34:43

I've put Dread Hatchling on first spot, Call Darkness and then Nocturnal strike, filled with Peck. Hatchling demolished him. Other pets were as above, but only needed flock once.

Ikky x/1/1 + Ji-Kun Hatchling x/2/1

Ikky- Black Claw
Ji-Kun Hatchling- Acid Goo -> Flock

Falcosaur wrote on 2018-06-20 05:31:16

Can start with Sharptalon and use Rip.

Kimberleigh wrote on 2018-07-12 21:22:40

Yes, perfect, thanks! I didn't have a chicken levelled.

Used Crow (murder - which doubles damage taken). Then Ikky as above.

LN wrote on 2017-09-21 16:36:03

TY. Worked really well

Telepatra wrote on 2017-10-20 14:03:43

Worked for me as well, ty (S/S breed)

Cloudia wrote on 2017-09-26 04:14:27

Any Glowfly/firefly with Glowing Toxin (4 turns x 6% of Bloat's hp) and speed more than 292. Then Ikky with Black claw + Flock.

Crows also work with Murder. Same ability basically

Kiolna wrote on 2017-09-15 10:00:35

Any falcosaur with fast enough speed and falcosaur swarm also works. Imagine a glow fly with fast enough speed and swarm might also work

Yewfire wrote on 2017-09-13 03:20:05

Worked first time. Thanks!

Amlu wrote on 2017-08-30 16:40:08

Any Pet with Flock or similar (I used Sharptalon Hatchlin with Falcosaur Swarm! for ex) can be in first slot, also you can use Quills a second time and it does the job :D

Boraxius wrote on 2017-09-11 00:27:27

Yep, I used Snowfeather Hatchling

Dakini wrote on 2017-09-10 17:22:29

Used Plump Turkey 2 2 2 Flock Turkey dies Ikky 2 1 1 Quills Quills Black Claw Flock Sunfire Kaliri 2 1 1 Quills

Ottoitoto wrote on 2017-09-09 17:33:13

Don't have Ikky, so I used Orphaned Felbat + Chicken as a low-end replacement. Also used Violet Firefly with Glowing Toxin as the lead to give it some extra damage. Had to finish it with Orphaned Felbat's Bite. xD

Azarak wrote on 2017-09-06 01:04:02

There's really no point in using Quills, just use Flock immediately with Ikky.

solitha wrote on 2017-08-29 23:58:20

Can you update this with the third slot being a Flyer in particular?

Anon wrote on 2017-08-30 07:09:14

GnuclearGnome wrote on 2017-08-31 20:07:14

I used the same team (Dusty Sporewing/Cerulean Moth, Ikky, any other Flying pet) as I did for One-of-Many. It went down just as easy, just as fast. Call Lightning, then your moth dies. Bring in Ikky. Black Claw then Flock and Bloat goes down for the count. I used my Dusty Sporewing (P/S) rather than my Cerulean Moth (B/B) as its Lightning hits harder.
