This worked great for me. My pen killed Bruce one round earlier than the strategy, so I was able to add more damage to Maws Jr. with quills by the pen. I only ended up needing one Flash and one Light right after (for bonus dmg) to finish the fight. My breeds are:

Pen SB
Lantern BB

I didn't have the pen so just used Brightpaw - can't beat the Prowl/Arcane Dash combo. I find he works in pretty much any slot I don't have the pet listed and he's always my backup :)

I used Nordrassil Wisp (2,1,2), Enchanted Pen, Enchanted Broom. Worked so much better for me. Did not have Accused Hexxer leveled yet.

Subbed in Enchanted Lantern 1/2/2 for last pet. Finished Maws Jr. with Flash then Light. Also, used Sandstorm on Bruce instead of Quills which worked b/c I only got one attack on him after Windup anyway.

I believe any magic pet can be used instead of the hexxer, I subbed in a Voidwiggler and Maws Jr. was only at about 300 HP by the time he killed my pen. Any standard attacks should finish off the fight from there.
