The TDscript will catch any rare pets, and any uncommon backline pets if there's no rares. If it's doing this, it will pass while your whelp has the Dragonkin buff and the potential to 1-shot a rare enemy, waiting for the buff to wear off so you can reduce it to a safe health. This is not represented in the script below, because if you're running manually you can decide that stuff for yourself.

Updated line where is said to Primal Cry again if Raptor survives to Black Claw, since Primal Cry has a CD and can't be done again.

In response to Shattered Defenses nerf, also added a speed restriction to the Wyrmling to make sure it will be faster than Dark Gazer for Interrupting Gaze.

Tried it post prepatch and I think Hunting Party just doesn't have the guts anymore to get it done. Would like to hear if other people are experiencing the same thing.

Just tried, with an S/S raptor. It did not go according to plan.

On R5, I got off Primal Cry and my Anklerender died according to plan.

However, on R6, Gazer interrupted my Wyrmling. Even with the Primal Cry slow, his speed is 274 to my 260. I'm not sure if his choice of moves is random here, but even if it is, he has only two to choose from. He then finished off my Wyrmling over the next two rounds without letting the Wyrmling Flurry.

I tried a second time. Same result.

I tried a third time, with a P/P. I got lucky with a crit with Drain Power, after I was interrupted.

I don't think the problem is Hunting Party here,

Fair enough, I"m not very math minded so while I knew there was something up with the strat - it used to work, now it's iffy at best and I knew they changed Shattered Defences etc so thought it might be that. I used another strat entirely instead (Boneshard) and it worked fine.

Yeah, the Shattered Defenses nerf could very well play a part as well, if we get past the other problem. I wasn't criticising your post; just thinking that there is another issue to deal with first.

Thing is, I'm not sure, assuming this worked reliably in the first place, what changed to stymie the strat as early as the Wyrmling stage now. Less damage on Gazer I understand, but dying before making the attack expected must be something else. Maybe the strat never worked reliably with S/S?
