Both Zandalari's needs to be above 291 Speed for this to work properly

I managed to get it to work with my P/P in 2nd but the strat is definately intended for 2x speedy ones IMO (edited)

Use a footslasher SS, Anklerender SS, cinderpup.

Exposed wounds, swaps to ankle
Black claw, Hunting party, Hunting party, swaps to Cinder pup
Flame Breath, Flame Breath, (both of these will have +149 damage)
Should die, just clean up if not dead.

this strat wont work anymore without getting at least 1 crit.
turn 4 black claw wont fire as you are slower if your second raptor is not SS.

This strat needs either a breed restriction on second raptor or RNG tag (edited)

Strat works perfectly but the script is wrong. It is using Ability 3 in round 1 which is leap for Kneebiter, it should be Ability 2 for Black Claw.

This, but my Toenibbler in slot 1, as it was fast enough, Footslasher in slot 2, but instead of using Black Claw at turn 4, I used leap, then just 1 breath to dead from my pup :)

I did't have 2 speedy Zandalari so I used:

Alpine foxling (S/S) 1,2,2
Zandalari Anklebender (P/B) 2,1,2
Cinder Pup (2,1,1)

Turn 1 - Dazling dance (your Zandalari Anklebender will be forced into battle)
Turn 2 - Because of speed buff you attack first - Black Claw
Turn 3 - Hunting Party (your Cinder pup will be forced into battle)
Turn 4 - Volcano
Turn 5 - Flame Breath
Turn 6 - Flame Breath and Corrupted blood is dead.

I don't know if I was only lucky but you can give it a try.

Cheers, Johny24, it worked a treat. In fact I just used Flame Breath on turn 4 and killed him. (I used a P/P Zandalari Anklerender.)

I still haven't levelled a Cinder Pup so used 2 S/S Zandalari and S/S Cheetah Cub, finishing the fight with 2 Pounce.

this worked great as my Cinder Pup was only lvl 12...when cheetah is swapped in...rake then pounce, cheetah will die, but bloods health really low, first zandalari comes back in, I used a P/S for first slot and a S/S for second..one leap should do it. P/S has 305 speed..render with S/S is speed 340+, and Cheetah is 390...keeps ahead of him all the way

I did not have any Zandalari pets with 292+ speed but I found a very unorthodox way of beating this guy with my slower one.

You will need
Cinder Pup with Flame Breath
Zandalari pet with Black Claw and Leap
Direhorn Runt with Stampede and Primal Cry (may work with other pets with these two abilities)

Now for the unorthodox part. Put your Direhorn Runt in the 1st slot and engage in a fight with the Corrupted Blood of Argus. Pass a turn and let it swap your pet and surrender your battle.
Repeat one more time. The goal of this is to get your Direhorn Runt's HP lower than your Zandalari pet so he does not get swapped in first.

Put your Cinder Pup back on slot 1 and commence the actual fight.

Turn 1 - Pass (Your Zandalari Pet gets swapped in)
Turn 2 - Leap
Turn 3 - Leap
Turn 4 - Black Claw (Your Zandalari pet dies and your Direhorn Runt gets swapped in)
Turn 5 - Primal Cry
Turn 6 - Stampede (Your pet will get two turns of Stampede and then die)
Turn 7 - Flame Breath to finish off your opponent

Thank you! None of mine were fast enough either. Just a note, when I forfeit the hp went up, I didn't realize this meant it was still higher than my little Zandalari raptor so I just did that method twice to knock it down enough :)

If your zandalari dinos are slow (under 292) then you need to slow the boss down first. I used any cat (fast, 305) with screech as first pet and first attack. This slows down the boss so your dinos always hit first. This makes the fight trivial.

If you don't happen to have a fast pet with Screech, you could also use a fast pet with Dazzling Dance.

Excellent advice! I didn't even have two Zandalari pets, I only had one Kneebiter, and so I replaced the other with a cat with screech and it worked perfectly first try. Thank you!

Didn't have a leveled Cinder pup, but i did have a S/S breed Summit kid.
Used Drozy on Summit Kid, forced to one of the two Zandari raptors. Use the standard Black Claw + Stampede, Leap when about to be forced out. Repeat for 2nd raptor. When Summit comes back just use stampede as black claw will still be active.

Perfect! Started out with Anklerender (black claw) then Argi swapped in. Stampeded all 3 rounds before he switched in Cinder Pup - 1 flame breath was all it took

LOL I was trying out Argi on first slot because my Anklerender is slow, used Stampede, Cinder Pup was brought in and almost 2-shot the boss with Flame Breath. Just finish it off with any attack really.

For those who have only 276 speed Zandalari: take Alpine Foxling as a first pet, use Dazzling Dance for the first turn. Then black claw+hunting party until Zandalari is swapped for another one, repeat hunting party. That's all.

He is very sensitive to fire. Can be brought down easily with one molten hatchling (1,2,2) and two cinder pups (2,1,1,)

Substituted a Rose Taipan (S/S) 1-1-1 for the Cinder Pup. It had more HP than others and was forced in first.

Used Paralyzing Venom, Poison Fang, Puncture Wound

When it died, continued with the normal Black Claw // Hunting Party style of things.

My only Zandalari that was fast enough was a Footslasher, which doesn't have Black Claw. I used Exposed Wounds on turn 1 instead, the same on turns 2-7, then starting on turn 8, Black Claw > Hunting Party (dies, other Zandalari comes back in) > Hunting Party. Not as sleek, but it works if you don't have the preferred Zandalaris in S/x breeds.

I used a S/S Anklerender as 2nd pet and could squeeze in another Black Claw before being swapped with the Cinder Pup. 1 Flame Breath was enough to finish the Blood afterwards.
