Tried this one 4-5 times, and failed each time. I barely had health left on my third pet when Brite came in, if I even got that far. Startail consistently takes my snail immediately to about 1/3 health before I can make any kind of move, meaning I get 1-2 chances at ooze touch before they die, and the other 2 don't have enough health between them to finish the battle. While OP does include the H/S breed in their recommendations for snails, my gut instinct had me replace my H/P Shimmershell Snail with Scooter la Lumaca (who is H/H only). That turned out to be a good move, as otherwise I would have likely lost despite some favorable RNG. (As always, "Your Mileage May Vary".)

Based on the number of favorites I thought this would go easy, but man this took me quite some time.

The whole fight depends on how often your pets get hit from Moth Balls.
My advice would be to take Scooter as 2nd pet due to its high health.

Instead of using Shell shield with Beetle, I just used another Skitter. Even if using the shield would have died in the same around, this way my roach survived with 1 health at the end.

Can't make it work! When I'm lucky (with moth balls) I am able to kill Brite with apocalypse and also kill needlenose with the coach and because of survival, ends on 1 hp, then the stupid cyclone kills me and battle will be lost.

I failed several times with a 1723HP snail. Beefed it up with a 1790HP Rapana and worked first time. It survived two more turns against Star Tail which made all the difference in giving the roach significantly less work to do

Did not work for me. RNG on mothballs and other crits doomed me

I beat it with a Nether Roach (2,2,2), Decaying Mawrat (2,1,2) and Shimmerbough Hoarder (1,2,2). Creeping Insanity is great. And the Hoarder is faster than flyers when the racial is gone. Could not tell you exactly how I did it, but maybe this will help someone.

It's not necessary to use Survival to avoid Apocalypse, because Cockroaches and Beetles are immune to it. So you could remove that from the instructions and script, to avoid confusing players. Other than that, this is a great strat. Worked perfectly for me, but I did get lucky on Moth Balls.

Failed every time I used the script no matter the breed snail. Not sure the issue but I would get to the end and be 1 round short of the health left on the cockroach to finish. I stopped using the script and manually fought it out and it worked flawlessly. Used a Scooter the Snail for the snail slot, H/P Nether Roach, and a B/B Void-scarred Beetle.

The same thing happened to me. Wasn't paying enough attention to see what went wrong when I used script, but I think it probably didn't switch out pets after first round because I didn't even get one enemy pet down before all three of mine died. But second try I did it manually using the steps--pets were HP Nether Roach, HP Mudshell Conch, and BB Void-scarred Beetle--and it was easy peasy.
