If you don't have Shrieker, you can try substituting in your choice of magic pet with strong damage against flying pets. Shrieker is the most reliable, but pets like Servant of Demidos and Eldritch Manafiend can work too. It should have more than 266 speed in order to be faster than Runehoof (when he is affected by Eyeblast). Servant of Demidos is an exception, because of Siphon Anima. The TD script will work up until you bring in your third pet, if you are attempting the strategy without Shrieker.
If you have multiple breeds of Sanctum Cub, use the one with the most power. |

Edited from a previous strategy I didn't have a max level pet for. This is quite RNG due to Runehoof's Horn Attack and Trunks, but it will eventually net you a win.

Ahhh RNG. : Given the chance for stuns from Runehoof's Headbutt and loss of turn from his Horn Attack, and the uncertainty around Moth Balls damage, it's very likely you'll need to restart and try again. With both Servant and Shrieker using Soulrush, you can also hope for stuns but will need to adapt accordingly. This strategy took five times to complete with favorable RNG.

But on the second go, Eye of Corruption finished the fight. Solid.
