I'm not sure how a strat that's so heavy on RNG has 5 stars. From the comments it seems I'm not the only one that's had bad RNG with it. I can understand it being the preferred strategy if the others are even worse but after 6 failed attempts I gave up. There are 2 other pet masters I can do for this achievement. 4 out of 5 turns failed with the beetle dying too soon from crit hits and the other 2 ended up with my last pet trying to finish off all 3 of theirs which wasn't going to happen. The Toxic Bite - Pheromones interaction seems like an obvious bug. It seems unreal that Pheromones should tick for 205 damage.
Expect this to be fixed eventually.

This interaction had been known for a while and made it into official forums.
It has also a nasty implication of a carrier's #Scorched Earth# being affected twice.

The only blue I know that replied said as much *after* our analyses:

"The ability does not mention that the effect is for the target only, it will increase all DoT effects for 5 rounds."

A shrug, pretty much, personally I don't suspect it bears that much weight but technically someone got to it.

Same here, got unlucky with the Void-Scarred Beetle dying before casting Tranquility. It did not disappoint me, I loved how the strategy was going! 2nd time was the charm. That Predatory Strike for the last hit was cherry on top.

I kept failing until I switched steps 5 and 6--doing Skitter before Tranquility means not taking damage from web when attacking. I didn't have a second hatchling, so I used Nibbles in my third slot. Just used a single Bone Bite to finish off each of the remaining two pets.

Spindler has Brittle Webbing.

Also I went back to check. It seems to be a bug with the Beetle itself. Whenever I pick another pet to be webbed by the Spider, it does not web it, because of the Critter perk. Bugs are bugged, I guess. (edited)
