Lazey	Based on an idea by Flummoxed#7749 on Discord I tried 3x Gusciomolle Prismatico. Using Assorbimento vs. Runehoof & Duster only is intended, Slugger would die faster, but we don't want that, we are aiming for as much AoE damage as possible on the backline pets before we can no longer avoid to kill Slugger ;-) This is also the reason behind swapping pets, passing turns and using barriers to be immune to damage while waiting for the perfect moment for next Scatto delle Conchiglie. (~58 rounds slowly but steady) I know that most people don't have or won't buy this pet 3 times and I'm sure we'll see alternate strategies soon, but Family Achievements are also a time when players provide help with specific breeds or pet duplicates. Using Assorbimento vs. Runehoof & Duster only is intended, Slugger would die faster, but we don't want that, we are aiming for as much AoE damage as possible on the backline pets before we can no longer avoid to kill Slugger ;-) This is also the reason behind swapping pets, passing turns and using barriers to be immune to damage while waiting for the perfect moment for next Scatto delle Conchiglie.

I know that most people don't have or won't buy this pet 3 times and I'm sure we'll see alternate strategies soon, but Family Achievements are also a time when players provide help with specific breeds or pet duplicates.

After many tries with different teams, this was the one that came close to winning it for me so I made a small adjustment and it worked, though it's a very RNG fight, don't give up! I used H/P Frostfur Rat, P/P Blind Rat, S/S Nether Roach.

With Frostfur Rat:
Call Darkness > Refuge
Swap to Nether Roach:
Apocalypse
Swap to Blind Rat (changes start here):
Call Darkness > Sneak Attack, Slugger dies and Runehoof swaps in > Lullaby > Duster Swaps in > Sneak Attack, Blind Rat dies
Swap to Frostfur Rat:
Call Darkness > Sneak Attack > Refuge >Sneak Attack > Frostfur Rat dies
Nether Roach comes in:
Nether Blast x3, Duster dies and Runehoof swaps in > Survival > Nether Blast as filler or pass, doesn't matter > Apocalypse hits, you win, I win, we all win!

I've modified another strat that wasn't working but had it taken down by one of the mods as the correct way to do it is to simply leave a comment on the strat with the changes. It'll be up to the creator of this one if they want to change it or not.

I have tried this one in the original strategy and I tried Petweaver strategy neither seem to work with my pets. My pets are P/S Ratto Pelogelido, S/S Ratto Cieco, and H/H Scarafaggio Fatuo. Any advice would be nice.

I tried this strat 10 times, and had such horrible RNG on the misses, that I couldn't even get to the apocalypse hitting Runehoof. I would recommend using a different strategy.

I could not get this to work as written, the Apocalypse kept missing Runehoof. I finally got it to work with some modifications:

Skipped steps 7-8, so I kept my Blind rat in and used Sneak attack until Slugger died. Then used Lullaby on Runehoof when they came in, followed by Sneak attack until Blind Rat died. Then brought in Frostfur rat. Call Darkness, Refuge, Sneak attack until dead. Then bring in Roach for Netherblast. Use Survival to stay alive when Apocalypse counter is at 2, hopefully you don't get stunned right then.

I used Frostfur H/P, Blind B/B, Roach S/S. I found that I couldn't down the moth by the time the counter reached 2, which caused Apoc to miss. So by skipping steps 7-8, I had more time to down the moth, but then it was a race to be the last one standing. (edited)

Bonkers RNG. Had lullaby miss a few times, Duster just wouldn't die, and so on, but strat is as sound as it probably gets here, and eventually worked. Used p/p Frostfur, p/s Blind Rat, and s/s Nether roach.

While yes, the roach not being alive will make the Apocalypse miss, it seems if Call Darkness is up when it lands, there is also a chance that it will miss.
I had RNG land perfectly to get me through to the last round, only to have it not kill Runehoof. My roach was alive, so it's the only reason I can think of that it failed.

Also, while the RNG is even *worse*, this is possible to do with an H/S roach. If your Frostfur Rat survived the battle, swap it in to eat a hit (or two, if RNG favors) from Runehoof to burn the clock down more. (edited)

After you kil duster with your roach, switch to your frostfur rat (which should still be alive). He will take some of the damage instead of your roach. The roach still survives apocolypse even when on the back line.

So, I tried this strategy and had Apocalypse miss 2x. Was wondering what was going on. Turns out if the casting Roach dies, it will almost certainly miss. So, I made a change where after killing duster, I swapped over to my still living rat. Thus, keeping my roach alive and apocalypse finally hit.

tried several times and apocalypse was going off before the runehoof was coming in,,, so rather than switching between mice after applying the apocalypse i switched back to the frostfur and played that one out until it died and then switched to the blind rat. used lullaby, call darkness and played out the sneak attack till dead, the roach came in and it had enough life to netherblast until apocalypse went off.

Ok the wowhead strat works, you messed up the rotation.
(again full credit to Naareuh

Frostfur rat 1-2-2 (pref. the one with the lowest speed you have in your collection)
Blind rat 1-2-2 (same thing)
Nether roach 2-2-2 (ideally one with more than 317 speed : S/S breed)

Frostfur rat casts "Call darkness" then "Refuge".
Switch to your Roach and cast "Apocalypse".
Switch to your Blind rat and cast "Call darkness".
Switch again (!) to your Frostfur rat, skip one turn then cast "Refuge" and kill using "Sneak attack".

2nd opponent arrives, switch back to the Blind rat and cast "Lullaby" then "Call darkness".

3rd opponent takes his place, cast "Sneak attack" as much as you can, anyway your Blind rat would die pretty soon.
Switch back to your Roach and kill that butterfly spamming "Nether blast" while Roach stays alive.

Switch again to Frostfur rat and sacrifice him facing 2nd opponent coming back.

Switch one last time to your roach and cast "Survival" to make it last until "Apocalypse" kills that nasty beast!

Tested it twice in a row and worked like a charm.

I was able to do this by changing the script slightly. Turn 7 Sneak Attack with Blind Rat and Turn 8 swap to Frostfur. This avoids a pass and makes slugger die on time. Maybe I got lucky though, there is plenty of RNG.

I got this to work with a slower speed Nether Roach by doing the following:

When Runehoof comes back in for the last few rounds, swap to your living Frostfur rat. I was able to do this with 2 rounds left on Apocalypse. The first round Runehoof killed the Frostfur rat, and the second round, the attack didn't kill my Nether Roach and apocolypse hit to kill Runehoof. (edited)

Worked for me on 1st try, though I may have been lucky with RNG. I used pp Frostfur, HH blind rat, HS Nether roach. I followed script as written and killed Duster with one Nether blast, then used Survival for last turn when Runehoof came in, and Apocalypse hit the next turn. But the script depends in part on 'misses' from the enemy due to Call Darkness, and I may have been lucky in that regard. (edited)

I used P/S Frostfur Rat, H/P Blind Rat and S/S Nether Roach.. it took a few tries ( cpl extra cus I hit the wrong attack ) but it does work .. downvoted most of the folks crying it didn't work because it does. People seem to want everything to work the 1st try. RNG folks.. deal with it

Rematch picked my S/S rats for some reason, and they didn't work at all. I switched to both H/H rats, and still had problems - so I've switched to my P/P Frostfur, for when I'm patient enough to try yet again.

[several hours later] Nope. Nope, nope, nope. Slugger <i>never</i> dies when he's supposed to, no matter which breed of Frostfur I'm using, which means my Blind Rat dies sooner, which means the Apocalypse is NOT cancelled and Runehoof has all the health it wants. (edited)

Failed first try as there were still 2 ticks to go on Apocalypse when Duster died and Runehoof came in and killed my Roach. Second try I cast Survival just in case and with lucky RNG Runehoof only got my Roach to 14 HP (Runehoof was faster so Survival kicked in later). Apocolypse dropped and killed Runehoof with both Roach and Frostfur Rat still living. Hard battle but a win after all. YAY

I dont know for sure, but if the roach dies when apocalypse happens, the enemy will dodge it. That's why you need a high-speed roach to hit survive. I'm having the same issue with my HS nether roach.

It'll be a bit breed-dependent on the Blind and Frostfur rats: my Frostfur is H/B, my Blind is H/H, and between them (650 Call Darkness + 630 Call Darkness + 245 Sneak Attack + 125 Blinded bonus) leaves Slugger reliably at 34 HP.

After a scenic trip to Draenor for P/P Frostfur Rat (a natural blue!) and one to the Dalaran Sewers for a H/P Blind Rat, Slugger died on cue. My Blind Rat got crits two rounds in a row against the moth, leaving my roach with nothing to do a whole round early. Didn't feel like extended testing, but if you're finding that Slugger hasn't died, get more powerful rats. (edited)
