Took me 3 times for I had a leveling pet in slot 3. When I changed to a different tougher leveling pet, Ikky finally got it! YAY IKKY!

I just posted a guide that "SUPER EASY" beats this guy and easily without worry can level up any level 1 pet. Hope they post it soon. ENJOY! -Kenje

I am interested to see it, I try to use a leveling pet on all of the quest ones during the pet buff week, even when they only give a small amount of XP normally.

You may think that the small amount of xp for beating Minixis with a leveling pet is a waste of time. In this case it is not since the two pets wash him up with ease, so some beats none.

Elemental team: Winter Rageling (1,1,1), Stout Elemental (1,2,1), Stormstruck Beaver (2,2,2)
Rageling: Ice Barrier, Ice Lance (breaks barrier), Slippery Ice, Ice Lance x4, Slippery Ice again, Ice Barrier, Ice Lance until Rageling dies
Stout Elemental: Explosive Brew (whenever you can) and Brew Bolt, Dive when Antaen Cannon is ready. Repeat Explosive Brew and Brew Bolts until Stout Elemental is dead
Stormstruck Beaver: I never needed this, but use Beaver Dam on Antaen Cannon CD, and Jolt to kill Minixis

Humanoid team: Flayer Youngling (2,2,2), Squirky (1,2,1), Hogs (1,1,1)
Flayer Youngling: Deflection, switch to Squirky.
Squirky: Stampede, Punch until Squirky dies
Flayer Youngling: Triple Snap until Minixis is ready to use Antaen Cannon, then use Deflection. Rampage (Youngling Dies)
Hogs: Stampede, Head Butt. Minixis dies.

Flyers:
Teroclaw Hatchling (2,2,2), Shimmering Aquafly (1,2,1), Teroclaw Hatchling #2 (2,2,2)
Teroclaw: Dodge, Nature's Ward, Alpha Strike until Minixis' Antaen Cannon is on 1 for CD (you're almost dead, don't wait til it's ready). Dodge and, if you can (sometimes it's too late), use Healing Ward and Alpha Strike until Teroclaw is Dead
Aquafly: Lift-Off when Antaen Cannon is on CD, other wise use Barbed Stinger and, when possible, Puncture Wound.
Teroclaw #2: I didn't need this guy, but use abilities to your advantage.
