*Level 1 pets died... the level pet did take some damage. Near as i could figure the damage range was 165 to 200 so i wouldn't recommend any level pet with less than 241 health for that reason. My level 3 pet gained 3 levels to level 6 and my level 6 gained 2 levels to level 8

I can see how a level pet would die here. I had to pass a few times, which caused Rascal to use their Thunderbolt again. The beast buff combined with their passive buff Dazzling Criticals & Uncanny Luck buff, can cause some big numbers for the level pets.

Non-Mech & Non-Critter level pets damage:
- First Thunderbolt: 181 reg & 362 crit
- Second Thunderbolt with Beast buff: 226 reg & 396 crit
Highest potential damage: 758

Mech pet damage:
- First Thunderbolt: 272 reg & 544 crit
- Second Thunderbolt with Beast buff: 340 reg & 595 crit
Highest potential damage: 1139

Critter pet damage
- First Thunderbolt: 119 reg & 208 crit
- Second Thunderbolt with Beast buff: 149 reg & 261 crit

i have a lvl 6 pet in the 3rd slot and it dies every time before i even get to dibbler!

possibly check the health on that level 6.... the health level should be at least 240 or greater. different breeds have different levels of health. sorry it didn't work for you
