So I think I figured it out (unless RNG is bad) - I tried this using H/x Bunnies and S/x Bunnies as my first bunny - both worked. I also included a 鑽地 on the fourth turn, so that the second 奔竄 doesn't hit. If your Bunny has over 335 HP left once Wumpas comes in, you should win this (again if RNG doesnt crit you as often). In the script below I also added another 閃躲 condition if 鑽地 isn't ready and 頭錘 is up. This script/strategy isn't failproof, but it should work like 7/10 times - using different breeds than recommended by the strategy creator may differ the results

it was a rough fight, and long. I finally won with Rabbit (SS), Dust Bunny (SS) and Scooter the Snail (HH). I used the written instructions instead of the TD script. seemed to work out much better for the rabbits.

It's an endless loop for me.. many tries with many bunnies, hares and i can't get through Wumpas... No matter the breed i bring he always heals himself up to full and slowly kills my bunny, hare or whatever. =(

I wrote a terrible, terrible hacky TD Script for this fight. It's not pretty, but it gets the job done. I suppose it's possible it could fail if you get extremely unlucky on triple Flurries on Wumpas and go beyond 35 rounds with him, but it's unlikely. I never saw past 20.

Like another commenter mentioned, your first rabbit needs to be a Health breed (H/x, with H/P being ideal) to survive long enough to get into the unhittable cycle with Wumpas. If you're having trouble finding an appropriate bunny, ⅔ of all Alpine Hares are Health breeds and are your best bet. Good luck!

Didnt work for me out of the box. I went with 3 rabbits S/S, S/B, S/S. Starting with Dodge, Flurry, Burrow. Then Dodge>Burrow>Flurry. But dont use Burrow after dodge as you will waste a dodge round. Once Thrugtusk is dead stick to guide. For Baeloth Just avoid Crystal prison with dodge or burrow, whatever is available otherwise flurry.

Strat seems solid. I used a Health/Speed rabbit (with 1546) HP to start, but altered the 1st moveset to Dodge, Flurry, Burrow, Flurry, Dodge, Flurry x 3. At this point Thrug is around 100HP, so I used another Dodge if needed and saved Burrow. Once Wumpas came in, I followed the moveset listed above. If you're doing it right, your rabbit should never get hit during the hippo fight. For the 2nd rabbit on Baeloth I used one with speed - and had little issue taking him down. But you should have 2 full health pets by the time you get to him.

It's odd, I tried this strategy several times a few days ago and couldn't get it to work at all. Today, it worked like a charm, first try. I used an H/P Rabbit and an S/S Alpine Hare. They took out Mr. Craig's team between the two of them. My Rapana Whelk didn't enter the battle at all. Maybe it was just a luck day for me, eh? Thanks everyone, for the strategies.

Fixed it for you, Use a squirrel as the second pet. When you bring it in after the first rabbit dies to Baeloth, use Nut Barrage and Woodchipper. When squirrel dies, bring in a rabbit as 3rd pet and use Dodge, then Burrow. Baeloth dies to the dots + burrow.

I got my butt kicked on this fight. I did not think it took too long for the rabbits at all. But they were taking damage. After every burrow they still got hit by the water. So they did not last as long as it suggests.

But my snail which is my trusty go to snail did nothing. I tried over and over & came no where close to killing him. That last guy is tough.
I finally went with Gleamhoof Fawn (1,2,2) the nature's ward healing helps alot & he did alot of damage.

It worked, but it was a 52 round battle. Couldn't you start the battle off by casting apocalypse with a beetle/cockroach, then use rabbits to kill first guy and hold second one at bay until it goes off? Seems like it would save a lot of time.

I tried this and I have not used apocalypse before that i can remember. I brought my beetle in cast it then switched to my rabbits. 15 rounds later it went off and the Wumpas did not die to it.... ??? I'm not sure why. Maybe because he was sleeping. The other last pet was killed so idk.

This works perfectly fine with two S/S bunnies, but not in the way it's outlined here: Instead of powering through and flurrying through most of Pet 1, use burrow to avoid some of the damage as well. Then for Pet 2, follow the standard dodge/flurry/burrow damage avoidance you'd normally use, flurrying through the sleeps until you get Wumpas down. Because of the timing of Wumpas's sleeps, you should be able to get through the fight with no damage, leaving your second bunny to take care of Baeloth in the same way (best if your burrow/dodge are off cd for his first hit, of course, but an S/S bunny is faster than he is, so it should be easy to avoid most of the damage. And if not, that's what the third pet's for.)

This strat works, but it takes many attempts, because it relies on you getting 3-hit flurries and high-end dmg burrows. RNG can screw you over really badly here and you can end up in an infite match with Wumpas. Same goes for the first pet, if you don't get enough 3-hit flurries, you'll end up with hp too low to survive that one Water Jet you're not dodging. Not a great strat.

Dodging on Baeloth's first round is pointless -- critters are immune to stuns. It's a waste of a round that could be used for damage instead.

Not possible with S/S rabbits. Have not tried with any other rabbit breed bc those are the only ones I have, but Alpine Hare/Arctic Hare/Grasslands Cottentail S/S all fail on Wumpas rotation.

Worked fine for me, with two rabbits and rapana.
1. First pet rotation is ok.
2. Use Dodge, then Burrow on second, coz enemy pet won't use Hybernate for about 4 rounds. Use Dodge+Burrow again when he wakes up.
3. Rabbit with speed > 329 could be good for third, but you want maximum power breed for second pet. At least you do have third pet to kill basilisk.

I tried this numerous times with different rabbits. I found the first rabbit needed to be H/S and 2nd rabbit S/S to avoid having my 1st rabbit die too soon from Wumpus' water Jet. The snail didn't even need to be used.

This strategy did not work for me at all. 2nd pet kept dying against a full health opponent.

I found I could beat the 2nd pet with a Darkmoon Hatchling (1-1-1 S/S). Flock, then Peck. 2nd pet lived, but was <300 health so 3rd pet killed him in one shot). 3rd pet I couldn't get snail to work, but I did get lucky with a fast beetle.

I also subbed the Malayan Quillrat Pup as a 3rd pet. I used a Graaslands Cotttontail for the 1st and Hare for the 2nd. They lasted just long enough to get me to Baeloth. I may try using the Grasslands Cottontail in the 1st slot to see if I can get some more mileage out of the rabbits.

Was following strat step by step but I messed up after Wumpus kept healing himself back to full health. After that just have to keep dodge/burrow for water jet/headbutt to make it through. Took 3 tries with HS and SB rabbits, did not get to use 3rd pet.

Strat for the first 2 pets works fine but Baeloth destroys me. He has 328 speed and both of my blue-quality rabbits only have 322.

A S/S rabbit will have enough speed for Baeloth even as a green quality (330 speed) so I'd suggest trying to find one in the wild and getting it up the last 2 levels. If you don't have breed ID addon you can just can just check the stats of the rabbit in the wild and look for one with enough speed.

When Baeloth comes out, switch to the S/S rabbit on the first round. Then 1. Dodge, 2. Flurry, 3. Burrow, 4. Burrow (Continues), 5. Flurry, 6. Flurry (even though Dodge is off cooldown) and then start again with Dodge. You'll only get hit on round 5!

Gonna have to check another rotation, since its too RNG dependant. Tried to follow the exact strat and the Boar could kill the first pet with the Water Jet attack.
Edit: Managed to use 2 snails by bringing a 330+ speed Rabbit in second slot, the fisst one you only need 285+ speed, so you can use one with a bit more power to strike first 2 pets down and still alive to 3rd one.

It worked well, but my first rabbit died early on Wumpus after 2 of his Water Jets. I was able to bring in my snail and easily kill Wumpus and then finish the fight with my other rabbit. Both my rabbits were S/S.

I used this strategy tonight and was successful first try. I used two rare quality S/S rabbits and no 3rd pet was needed.

I just about managed to get my first rabbit through the first 2 pets but if you lost it on the first couple of rounds of Wumpass whilst Dodge was on cooldown then I doubt it would matter as the 2nd rabbit can take it from there.

You can also take nearly no damage from the final pet because Crystal Prison does no damage and you are immune to the stun. Therefore use Flurry on the 1st round against Baeloth and Dodge on the 2nd round. When Dodge comes off cooldown wait one more round to use it as Baeloth will use Crystal Prison that round again. This means you only get hit once every 5 rounds and Baeloth doesn't survive much more than that anyway.

To all commenters: This strategy most definitely works and is even very safe to use, but you have to follow the steps exactly, especially with Wumpas. It is a long fight, but you only need to do it once :-)

I followed your strat exactly, counting each step as I went. It did work, but barely. My last pet only had 28 HP left at the end, so if I hadn't been using the tank health version of snail, or if I had taken even one crit, it would have failed. The part where you say that the Rabbit will not take any damage from Wumpas definitely was not the case for me. Both rabbits took big damage and neither were able to kill Wumpas. It was up to my snail to kill the remaining half of Wumpas's health and that's probably why the snail ended the fight with so little health. For the record, I was using H/P rabbits in both slots, and the tanky H/B Rapana Whelk.

Hey Daedrynn, thanks for the explanation. Makes me think... I guess it has to do with Hibernate from Wumpas. Once you are "in" the rotation, your rabbit will indeed not take any damage. But perhaps he doesn't start to hibernate always on the same turn, so sometimes the rotation is not in sync with his spells. Hard to tell really :/

I finally figured out the timing so that my rabbit wouldn't take damage against Wumpus. After Hibernate expires, use Dodge. Next turn Flurry (Dodge will still be active and you won't take damage). Then Burrow. After your Burrow hits, Wumpus will Hibernate again. Flurry while he is Hibernating. Then after Hibernate has expired, Dodge again. Rinse and repeat.

On some we know a skill is triggered by health... maybe Hibernate is too. To set a marker, Wumpus did not Hibernate at 1337 health... and killed my first rabbit. The second rabbit came in with Wumpus at 1077, and he cast Hibernate on that turn.

I used Frostfur Rat (1 1 2) after Rabbit and it totally destroyd Wumpas (he just can not heal throuh Call Dakness+Sneak attack) and managed to kill Baeloth as wel.

I find this strat works ONLY if your rabbit is H/P. Most rabbits have a speed of 281 or higher..the more important part is the health and power.

In order for your rabbit to not take damage from Wumpas the rounds should go:

1. Dodge (dodges headbutt)

2. Flurry (dodges 1st water jet)

3. Burrow (2nd water jet misses)

4. Burrow hits, Wumpas goes to sleep.

5. Flurry, Wumpas is sleeping

6. Flurry, Wumpas is sleeping

7. Dodge...

I also used a second rabbit for the basilisk and it worked very well due to all the avoidance rabbits have. I didn't need the snail.

That .... is exactly the rotation that is already in the strategy :S I'm confused. You cannot directly start with Dodge because most of the time it's still on cooldown, so you have to do Burrow first and live through a few rounds eating damage. But then I listed *exactly* the same rotation as here.

There is a chance that Wumpas kills your rabbit before he uses Hibernate. Restart the fight or do it with 2 rabbits and a snail. The snail should survive with a few hp (not 100% safe strategy!)

Zoom makes a cute third here. Slow and Steady is a knockout blow by the time the snail dies.

This is a tough fight. It took about 5 tries before I actually won. My rabbit never actually made it to the third pet. My advice is to Dive before the multi hit ability on the basilisk (this would be your 2nd turn against him) since you're a critter and will not get stunned by his first ability.
