I found that none of these combos were well... I made my own team you guys can try (which was super successful for me) 1st pet: Baa'l (lvl25) 2nd pet: Menagerie Custodian (lvl25) 3rd pet: Molten Corgi (lvl25). I managed to half health him with Baa'l alone. After it killed Baa'l I swapped to Molten Corgi and popped puppies of the flame. BOOM win!

The Bloodgazer Hatchling was one shot. Snowfeather Hatchling lasted two rounds but did a lot of damage. Finished of with with Teroclaw Hatchling on the second Alpha Strike.

definitely a little RNG heavy, as I had to do this twice tonight. first time around, my first hatchling didn't doge the 2nd attack, so he took a LOT of dmg. 2nd time around, he dodged, and the fight was easy.

I can confirm that - my Bloodgazer was Oneshot in Round 1 today due to a crit. At least this fight is not long so it's noch dramatic to do it again. But it was indeed surprising :D

Yeah, first-round RNG crits are quite amusing on this one. I start with Mailemental and Junk Mail, which will guarantee to leave a Shattered Defenses for the Hatchling to Predatory Strike into. A Blighted or Infested Squirrel would serve the same purpose.

I agree with the moths being awesome here, and I moved my snowfeather to first and used crouch because 2 out 3 times I only got one hit off the bloodgazer first.

I managed this fight with an Amber Mother to start as mentioned by another poster. Sadly it lasted only a few rounds before being killed but then I was able to finish it with Ikky. Black Claw, Flock, dead.

P/S Amber Moth soloed this. Moth dust (stun helped) cocoon strike ate the blood in the water, 2x slicing winds repeat. if i hadn't gotten the stun, i am sure that the other 2 moths would have finished this

My Axebeak Hatchling (B/B) managed to finish the fight despite Knifefang doing exactly what you warned about. Definitely agree that this is an RNG encounter.
