Restart the fight on turn 2 if toxic fumes misses. I've found this incredibly reliable with easy to obtain pets, please comment if other breeds of Oily Slimeling work since I've only used the H/P variant.

Credit to Mcitra on Wowhead for this strat, it is the only one of all those listed here that I could get to work. As always with this fight, it is slightly RNG-based due to Darkness causing abilities to miss.

Creeping Ooze > Expunge > Absorb until Azerite Slime dies
Creeping Ooze > Absorb until Disgusting Oozeling dies, bring in Legs
Pump > Pump and Azerite Geode died for me
Whirlpool > Mana Surge vs Azerite Elemental, then Legs died
Creeping Ooze > Expunge > Absorb until Azerite Elemental dies
Netherspawn survived with around 75% of his HP.

1. Syd may die first due to crits; if he does, restart the fight. Legs doesn't have an easy weapon to take off the 10 pts remaining on Slime.
2. Double pump wasn't quite enough for Legs to win, so I dropped a whirlpool first, so that it dropped after the second pump. That did it.
3. Because of that, CD wasn't off so I could only Surge on the Elemental. However, my Oily Slimeling was up to the task (on the third try...)
