Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Because Aranesh's original Teroclaw Hatchling strategy was improved upon by Fem here, this has been updated with the same intention as the original strategy.

Well, after turn 1 when my Direbeak was swapped in, I hit the wrong button and did warning squawk first then followed with swarm. Direbeak didn't die, instead my Teroclaw was swapped in so I decided to go with it anyway and see what happens. Used Teroclaw's ravage right away and 2 hits later Snozz was dead. So I guess even if you mess up like me, the pets are strong enough to survive, plus this was a lot faster! (SL prepatch)

This is how I was able to do it too, thanks for adding this ♥

I made the exact same error... and it worked better than original strat.

Brilliant. I read comments when i realised the fight was not panning out quite as written in the strategy. Your modification worked perfectly. Hate this fight!

Raigar

rédigé le 2023-03-19 17:57:45

Awesome! This version of the strat still works.

Oakwarden

TDScript for above comment.
ability(Rip:803)
ability(Warning Squawk:1772)
ability(Falcosaur Swarm!:1773)
ability(Claw:429)

The pets shown don't correspond to the strategy... looks like you changed the steps based on a different pet. Bloodgazer vs Sharptalon...?

Prudentius

TD Script

ability(Rip:803)
ability(Predatory Strike:518)
ability(Falcosaur Swarm!:1773)

No need to overcomplicate it.

Serendipitus

rédigé le 2020-11-20 20:16:41

Add claw in there and it works 9.0
In fact the turn order comes out quite different from the strat posted, but this TD worked great. (edited)

Evil rédigé le 2018-07-29 21:56:52

Ikky X/1/1 + Ji-Kun Hatchling X/2/1 + Flying with less than 1465 HP

Ikky- Black Claw
Ji-Kun Hatchling- Acid Goo -> Flock

If Snooz is still alive, finish with whatever.

Lulu rédigé le 2020-11-05 16:02:10

Only Strat that worked for me. Thanks for this.

huldu

rédigé le 2020-10-14 18:50:08

This no longer works as of SL pre-patch. For it to work it requires a big crit. EDIT: I switched out the last Bloodgazer Hatchling for a Teroclaw(1,1,2). I proceeded the fight as above except when teroclaw got in I used 2 claw, then dodge, then 2 claw. That worked. (edited)

Thanks a bunch, I made those changes to the strategy :)

Anonymous rédigé le 2017-10-19 23:18:50

Didn't have the pets used in the strategies, just used Turkey Gilnean Raven Ikky. Turkey Flock, Raven darkness then nocturnal strike, alpha strike until dead. Finish with black claw to flock from ikky

rédigé le 2020-07-22 18:57:25

The strat works fine, but the script is incorrect. Script starts out with Falcosaur Swarm on sharptalon, anyways ended up in a loss both times i tried it.

Thordros#1784

rédigé le 2017-12-18 18:44:29

The TD Script for Strategy #1 is for a different team. This script will work correctly:

ability(Rip) [round=1]
ability(Predatory Strike)
ability(Falcosaur Swarm!)
change(next)

Dox

rédigé le 2020-06-14 21:58:09

This script works. The one saved to the team does not.

Priessa

rédigé le 2019-12-02 06:43:47

I did this with Sharptalon Hatchling, Stormwing, and Ikky. Rip, Predatory Strike, Call Lighting, Flock, Black Claw, Flock

Thi

rédigé le 2018-11-14 12:23:29

I didn't have a Sharptalon, so I subbed in Chi-Chi to use Wild Magic on turn 1. Worked perfectly.

Mergas rédigé le 2018-07-22 00:32:59

I love strategies like this - short and effective. Thank you!

Zebriel rédigé le 2018-04-21 17:04:18

I think where it says "Falcosaur Swarm! until your Direbeak Hatchling dies" it should say "gets swapped out" instead of "dies".

Kathleene

rédigé le 2018-04-09 01:09:21

Beautiful strategy! The battle ended after Predatory Strike, and all of my pets still had well over 50% health left. I really enjoy battling with my falcosaurs. I love their entire storyline. They were fun to collect. and fun to battle with. Thanks for the strategy & the site, XuFu.

Askania

rédigé le 2018-01-04 02:08:24

I used same team but when direbeak came in after initial swarm he did the predator strike and was still alive when swapped out then bloodgazer had to only do a swarm to kill snozz was much easier and alot quicker.

Lisma rédigé le 2017-12-25 17:58:43

A bit different tactics. It's faster and all pets stay alive.

Flying Team:
Snowfeather Hatchling (S/S) - 1, x, x
Sharptalon Hatchling (P/P) - 1, 2, 1
Bloodgazer Hatchling (P/S) - x, x, 1

Snowfeather Hatchling:
1 - Falcosaur Swarm!, Sharptalon Hatchling swapped in

Sharptalon Hatchling:
1 - Rip
2 - Predatory Strike
3 - Falcosaur Swarm!, Bloodgazer Hatchling swapped in

Bloodgazer Hatchling:
1 - Predatory Strike

Perfect strat

Fluffyrock rédigé le 2017-09-06 10:55:08

The Script is wrong, it should be something like this:

ability(Rip:803) [ round=1 ]
if [ self(#2).active ]
ability(Falcosaur Swarm!:1773)
endif
change(#3) [self(#2).dead]
if [ self(#3).active ]
ability(Predatory Strike:518) [self.round=1]
ability(Falcosaur Swarm!:1773)
endif

Dakini rédigé le 2017-09-08 14:40:59

worked second time

Zalid rédigé le 2017-09-13 18:42:43

Thank you Fluffyrock. That works now :-)

Happeria#1884

rédigé le 2017-11-12 08:02:47

Yes! Thank you, the first script didn't work for 3-4 attempts but this got it first go!

Paww rédigé le 2017-10-16 16:38:06

No bloodgazer hatchling, so simply used Ikky as my third; no problem. for normal finish.

WiredTexan rédigé le 2017-09-10 10:43:03

I did not have any of the pets listed so I went with:

Cerulian Moth (1, 1, 2)
Crow (1, 1 1)
Ikky (1, 1, 1)

1) Call Lightning
2) Moth is swapped out for Crow
3) Squawk
4) Murder
5) Crow is swapped out for Ikky
6) Black Claw
7) Flock

I did this 2 times in a row, easy win.

Theeia rédigé le 2017-09-16 13:44:08

This worked perfectly!

Allaura rédigé le 2017-10-15 21:42:11

Thanks for this! I was able to do it with a level 20 Firewing instead of Crow, just using Murder plus black claw & flock with Ikky was enough to seal the deal.

Loncis rédigé le 2017-09-24 21:41:52

Well, obviously, you suck at writing strats, because I never even got to use the last Falcosaur Swarm, because Snozz died from the bleed right after Predatory Strike.

You designed your strat too well! Can't you do anything wrong?

Philaetia rédigé le 2017-10-11 23:34:29

same here, no need for last swarm. perfect!

runicpower rédigé le 2017-09-08 09:45:19

i used sharptalon 1st for rip than bloodgazer swarm into predatory strike into forced swap predatory strike with snowfeather and he died that round

Nuriana rédigé le 2017-09-06 15:33:38

Worked perfectly at the first try!
