Works with green Ikky in 9.0.5. 51sec between end of fight and end of next fight.
But as mentioned - level pets does not get any exp (edited)

Even though it doesn't give much exp. I used two level 6's and put Ikky in the last spot.

1st pet any attack, then swap out for second, then swap again and followed Ikky's attack plan. Even with my hat and a sausage the exp was only 253 points.

Tried in SL. Ikky is no longer strong enough to kill Beakinator and both L1 pets die. Replaced with a levelling pet at a higher level to take 1 or 2 hits from Beakinator.

Put a lv1 pet first, sacrifice it, bring you second lv1 to the battle, after that without any move just bring Ikky to do his thing and win.

It may not be much extra, but I went ahead and put 2 lvling pets (11+) ahead of Ikky. on Pet Battles Bonus Event week and got 589 xp for each of them. Not much, but every little bit counts.
