An elegant strat! I just tried it, and it worked fine, but I used Peanut, which at H/H 1725 is a pretty hefty customer, and was left with almost no health at the end, having taken just one crit, so I can see that the final pet with Burn will be needed sometimes.

Worked wonders. I wanted to see how much level xp I would get so I put a level in spot 1, used one attack then followed the above strategy. Received 1116 xp so minimal but it was something I guess.

Thanks for this easy to follow strategy! Worked pretty well. My critter pet died but volcano finished the enemy so didn't need the last pet.
