Hey there NoneGiven. Run a 3rd pet with Survival and Scratch, you should be fine then even if your Skimmer dies (as mine usually does)

I run my 3rd pet with Survival and Scratch (doesn't really matter which pet as long as they have those two abilities). Then if the Skimmer dies I can Scratch until the rat's undead round and Survival in the undead round ensures, well, survival.

I found this from Buuloki and it worked easily (after I'd been defeated 3 times trying other strats): Unborn Valkyr, Zandalari Anklerender, Kneebiter, or Ikky, and then a high health pet.
