Saviour! used kneebiter, summit kid and clefthoof HH, clefthoof was pulled in after kneebiter but managed to get two stampede rounds off, kid came last, perfect kill with kid having 65% health left

This worked for me in pre-patch with a Zandalari Kneebiter (SS). All that changed for me was:

Turn 1 was Black Claw instead of Pass.
Between Turn 3-5 & 6 Kneebiter used Black Claw again.
Added a final turn of Kneebiter using Bloodfang and I finally won the battle.

Yep, works-ish in SL, just have a fast first pet. I went with Zandalari Footslasher SS 212, and used debuffs whenever he was up.

Used a Mining Monkey as my random pet but didn't realize his move demolish was a 50% hit chance. So I switch to a jab and it worked.

I randomly picked an SS Grove Viper as my first pet, used Hiss on Bucky on a whim as it was faster than Bucky, then proceeded with the strategy as normal -- but Netherpup was able to finish Bucky off on its own. Awesome strat! :)

Son of Skum can almost solo the fight. Make sure the other two pets are set up so that Skum is the pet switched in on the first turn, and then use Lightning Shield and Stampede. The damage from Bucky's stampede will nearly kill him by the time he's taken Skum out.

I used a spider with s/s and put poison spit on before he swapped my pet out didnt even get to the last few steps because of the damage from the poison

Simple 4-5 turn rotation.
Spot 1: S/S Summit Kid XXX as it will get swapped
Spot 2: S/S Zandalari Anklerender 2-2-2
Spot 3: S/S Zandalari Kneebiter 2-2-1

Round 1: Summit Kid - Pass, will get swapped out
Round 2: Anklerender - Black Claw
Round 3 -4: Anklerender - Hunting Party - Anklerender dies
Round 5: Kneebiter - still 1 round of Black Claw remaining, 1 round of Hunting Party kills Bucky FTW.

I did spider s/s with Brittle Webbing, it goes first.
Anklerender s/s gets swapped in. Used Black Claw then Hunting Party, nothing more is needed = 4 rounds kill and no dead pets

I uesd my zandalari kneebiter as the first pet. I could land a black claw before being swapped, as it's faster than Bucky. That helped kill Bucky before I had a chance to use my netherpup!

I would advise taking the Diemetrodon Hatchling (or any other Beast with Quick Attack) as the first pet in this strat. First, you get to do something more constructive with your first move than pass, and finally at the end of the battle having that Quick Attack on the back of Netherpup's Howl buff ensures you have less to worry about with RNG.

Amazing Strat! My Son of Skum got swapped in before Anklerender but I practically defeated Bucky with only Son of Skum just needed the last stampede from Summit Kid. Didn't even use Anklerender :D!

This one worked for me even with a 24 anklerender, though he died as expected so no xp. I kept failing xu-fu's strat with 10 or 20 health left on bucky since I didn't have the netherpup leveled and the cinder pup just didn't quite cut it.

Used Ash Lizard (S/B) as the random pet, quick strike hits first, so you get one hit already at the start and get to do the finisher at the end, before Bucky gets a chance to hit you.

Amethyst spiderling-poison spit,brittle webbing,spiderling swarm

Start with zandalari ankle
turn 1 black claw
Amethyst spiderling gets swapped in
turn 2 brittle webbing
turn 3 spiderling swarm
turn 4 poison spit
turn 5 brittle webbing
turn 6 R.I.P Bucky (if not use any base attack)

I used an S/S Desert Spider (2/2/2) in 1st slot and got off a Brittle Webbing before he swapped me to Summit Kid, then followed the strat. He died much earlier beating on himself those rounds with the webbing.

I used Random Beast, Son of Skum (2,1,2), and Random Beast.
Turn 1 - Pass
Turn 2 - Lightning Shield
Turn 3 - Stampede until Son of Skum dies
Turn 4 - Random Beast #2 use a normal ability

Didnt really have any pets people mentioned in earlier comments.
Played around abit with diffrent comps and came up with one that one shottedfor me, was just thinking about stampede so i bet any pets with stampede works fine.

Direhorn Runt 1 2 1
Summit Kid 2 1 2
Zandalari Anklerender 2 1 1

1. Trihorn Charge (Summit Kid should get swaped in here)
2. Chew
3+4. Stampede (Zandalari Anklerender gets swaped in here)
5+6. Hunting Party
7. Pass (Direhorn Runt comes in again)
8. Trihorn Charge, if this dosnt finnish it use Stampede. you should survive with around 40 hp

Worked great. I used an S/S Death Adder Hatchling and opened with Poison Fang. Maul finished the fight.

Seems like it can't be a *truly* random beast - my S/S Alpine Foxling with Flurry couldn't do enough damage in the one round it was alive.

If you put in a S/S Zandalari in the first slot, he can hit with Black Claw or Exposed Wounds before he gets swapped out because of his 341 speed. This will make this good strategy even better.

used a zandalari with 341 speed, used black claw, summit kid killed boss with simply stampede!

Scalded Basilisk Hatchling also works. No extra damage but it can feign death and will be alive to help kill at the end if you need it.

Poison it to death. I used Icespine Hatchling 2,1,1, Terror Larva 2,1,2, Felspider 2,2,1
icespine takes the first blow gets knocked back. slot a poisoner type in slot 2, my terror larva hit with acidic goo, consume for heal and burrow to avoid and hit, bring back icespine or it get knocked in, he dies but try to get a puncture wound off, bring in felspider poison fang and puncture wound for the win.

I used Baby Elderhorn (first slot), Lost Netherpup (second slot) and Direhorn Runt (3rd slot). Your Direhorn should have the most HP. This line-up worked 4/5 times only failing if Bucky crits several times on his stampede against the Elderhorn.

Baby Elderhorn - pass
Direhorn Runt comes in.
Trihorn Shield then stampede. Netherpup forced in.
Maul then howl. Pup dies and Elderhorn is forced in.
Headbutt then trample. Elderhorn dies.
Use Trihorn charge to finish him off.
