Could not get it to work with my SS Bone serpent, BB unborn and Fossilized Raptor. Used Felina's strat instead with a level 24 Fragment of Anger in place of the Unborn Valkyr

i found an very very easy way for this one using
Round 1 Fragment of anger - Spam seethe till the robot pet is dead
Round 2 Fossilied Hatchling - Spam Claw till Rat is dead
Round 3 Bone serpent- Used Bone Barrage to remove bubble
Round 4-5 Use Call darkness and nocturnal strike

This worked even with fragment getting stunned and fossilied hatchling getting crited.

I didn't have Fossilized Hatchling, so I used Scraps (1,1,1) for 2nd pet. when Remy came in, I used Superbark, then spammed Claw. Those were the only changes. This was probably the shortest fight against Varenne I've done so far. Thanks!

With the pre patch (7/17/18) and the change to bone serpent I decided to give this a shot still. Seemed to work no problem following the turn list provided up until bone serpent comes in where I used:
Turn 1 Bone Barrage
Turn 2 Call Darkness
Turn 3 Lift-Off
Turn 4 Bone Barrage to finish Dinner off
(Note: I was not charmed or stunned at any point in this fight)

I used Unborn Val'kyr (1,2,1) Grotesque (2,1,1) and Mr. Bigglesworth (1,1,1)

Curse of Doom, then Haunt. Brin in Grotesque, Ravage, then Stoneform (Gusteau should die during stoneform), Ravage and Shadow Shock until Grotesque dies. Bring back Unborn Val'kyr. Shadow slash until Remy dies. When dinner comes in , Shadow slash him twice until his bubble is gone, then haunt. With Mr. Bigglesworth use Ice Tomb, then claw until victory,

(Note: I haven't had the dspleasure if being frogged during this strat, it might cause an issue, I don't know)

Not sure what the "restart if you get stunned" line is for, but I was able to do it by just passing at that point. I never saw any crits, so just ignore that part maybe.

One-shotted this with Unborn Valkyr, Mr. Bigglesworth, and Bone Serpent. I used CoD and Haunt right away, then used Frost Bomb and Nova from Bigglesworth to take out the first opponent. Bigglesworth just about got the rat down, and the Valkyr finished him off pretty easily. After that, a Darkness and Nocturnal Strike wrecked the frog pretty bad.

I had a really hard time with this. I did not have the bone serpent & used a blighthawk like others suggest but I still could not get it. I was also never stunned.

Finally I tried Mr Bigglesworth (1, 2, 1) instead of the fossilized hatchling.

This went way smoother! Got it the first attempt. He does much more damage against the first two pets so he killed them both meaning I had two pets up against the last guy.

I used haunt right away, my blighthawk died fairly quick but the valkyr finished him off.

Blighthawk 2-1-2 open with Cyclone then Slicing Wind. Switch to Mr. Bigglesworth 1-2-2 open with Frost Nova then Howling Blast. Play it out till Mr. Biggles Worth dies. Go to Widget the Departed 1-1-2 play it out till Widget dies. It should now be Blighthawk on Dinner. Use Cyclone and keep it up and Consume to keep health up. Good Luck

Hey Callinea! For Varenne most combinations of Undeads should work out. But I highly recommend you getting an Unborn Val'kyr! They are not rare anymore :-) It was patched some time ago and now they are up almost always on all spawn points.

Solid strategy. Even though I had selected the completely wrong abilities for the Bone Serpent (which were all weak against the third pet), it went smoothly. Also: Did not get stunned.
