Since I somehow keep failing to log in for All Hallows and don't have Feline Familiar I used Xu-Fu, Renny, and Ash'ana, following the spirit of the strat as best I could with Renny using dodge, and Blinkstrike. Then finished up with moonfire from Ash'ana. 9 rounds.

Didn't have the second pet so I used a Copperfur Kit 2/2/2 - just prowled, howled and bite finished off Phantus. Crit would have ruined the strat but its quick enough to reset.

Failed at the end for me, I'm afraid; one too many crits, I suspect. However, I then re-ran the fight with Ban-Lu (I think that's the name) with spirit claws and prowl in the first and third positions, respectively, and had Ban-Lu in the center position and the feline familiar in 3rd.

After Xu-Fu dies, bring in Ban-Lu, prowl, and Spirit Claws. Worked a dream.

You're probably thinking Ban-Fu, Cub of Ban-Lu. That is what I used for my third, and I put Ash'ana in my third incase I needed more magical damage, but I just barely didn't.

Worked as written, but only barely, and one crit would have killed my feline familiar too soon. Recommend bringing a strong third pet for backup, maybe thunderfoot calf/stormtouched stomper with zap and lightning shield.

This happened to me as well, Feline Familiar was pummeled to death just after using Prowl. Brought in Ban-Lu and just Prowl + Spirit Clawed Phantus dead.
