Really struggling with this one, tried multiple times using the suggested pets, moves, didn't even come close to defeating Bucky. Even tried various other critter pets, can't even get close to winning. Won't give up as I need it for the achievement but dang if its not hard. If anyone has a better critter/hit combo please share as this is very frustrating.

omg, why didn't that one come up to begin with, didn't have the correct breed of Scurrying Mawrat and it wouldn't port in so I went to the beast warrens and found the correct breed, everything worked like a charm. Can't thank you enough for this info!

this tactic doesn't work at all, as you rely on Headbutt to alwasy stun Bucky and Stampede to go all 3 rounds and in my past 20 tries neither has happened!

Use a power (P/P) build rat and fawn and the fight won't get back to the snail. (I used giant sewer rat and gleamhoof) which are both P/P for me.

My fawn has more health than my rat so when it was pulled in I just did the fawn's moves, then the rat was pulled in and I did the rat's moves. It worked fine.

My rat was not higher HP than my Fawn but I did have a Long Tail Mole that had same as rat but was equal in health to Fawn and it worked in correct order.

I used a lvl 23 Prairie Mouse and lvl 23 Gleamhoof Fawn, both rare but the strategy worked perfectly. They did die, so no lil amt of xp, but for achieve progress, I will take the win. Thanks

The rat can also be replaced with a Giant Sewer Rat and the fawn can be replaced with a Gazelle Fawn! :)
They only have to have the same abilities

Anubisath:
Deflect, Sandstorm, Demolish until stampede is on last round, deflect, Demolish until dead.
Crusher: Acid touch/Demolish/Shell Armour depending on what round of the fight it's on.
Hogs: Stampede if Sandstorm is Down, else Headbutt/Bite.

i used a gu'chi swarmling(HH) with 2,1,X instead of the rat because i didnt have a high health rat. worked great first time following the strat, just using swarm and acid goo in place of poison fang and stampede :)

Maybe kind of cheating but since i haven’t rat with more hp then fawn, i reduce my fawn hp through starting fight with one of battle pets in arena(just remember to use 2 I 3 pet different then to fight with bucky) get one hit and forfeit. Then, fight with Bucky looks like:
1. Pass - your Rat is forced in
2. Poisong fang
3. Stampede – your Snail is swaped
4. Headbutt
5. Ooze Touch
6. Snail daies, fawn enters
7. Headbutt (if you lucky Bucky die here)
8. Stampede

Couldn't get the above to work due to health pools, but I tried the standard three fast rabbits strat and it worked perfectly. Rabbits must have more speed than Bucky (338). Dodge the swap/trample whenever you can, stampede to keep up the debuff, flurry.

I used Mr Wiggles (1 1 2) in place of the Fawn. Headbutt followed by Hoof. Took the health down enough for the Whelk to finish.

Just got success with the 3 pets in the above strat, success is heavy on rng because the pets swaps did not follow the above script, random swaps

The highest health pet is swapped in so maybe your fawn had more health than the rat. I am about to try with fawn and rat the same health. MY rat went first it was in the second slot. So use the lowest Fawn you have and the highest rat, provided they have the same move set.

My Fawn had 1546hp and none of my critters with both Poison Fang and Stampede had *more* hp than that. However, I did have two that also had the same 1546hp. This works (I used Stormwind Rat H/B) - if the two pets have the same, it will reliably swap to the pet in the number 2 slot.

I had this problem but no alternative rats. Instead I copied a tactic from the humanoid page - put fawn in first slot, start battle, get hit by gate, forfeit. Swap whelk back to first slot, start fight again. Your fawn now has less health than the rat, and you can still complete the fight without any problems.
