Right now the final boss is extremely vulnerable to damage "reflecting" shields, so Tinytron with two of them shines in this fight. I apply Shattered Defenses (damage taken increased by 100%) with Flock and then force the Tinytron swap by using a pet with higher health in slot#3.
You can replace Ikky with any other pet that can apply Shattered Defenses for 2 rounds (Stampede, Swarm, Inflation etc. but not Hunting Party!) with speed 295+ This team & strat is part of my Emperor Crab & Soul of the Forge challenge run. It's very simple: Get a Stampede pet that is faster than the boss and then a second pet with Lightning Shield, that has lower health than the third pet, so it gets swapped in when the boss does his first attack. |

This is my favorite team against mechanicals. They're also a great team for pet pvp and for leveling pets (load the Gift of Winter's Veil in the third spell slot). They're super cheap in the Auction House (on my server, at least!) if you didn't manage to get them during the holiday event. Totally worth burning a stone to rarify them!

This fight is one of the easiest in the whole dungeon, but it can be tricky at times. Just play around his abilities, and have high speed pets to make sure you get your abilities off before his. I see a lot, and I mean a lot using fire shield, or lightning shield. These work just as well, but I wanted a different approach. Hopling is great because of his speed, and ikky is a staple in any pet collectors arsenal. I have 3 max leveled because why not! Thanks again.

The change(nextI I manually swapped back to pet #1, when I think it'd actually swap to #3 after boneshard died. The strategy finished in 8 rounds and ~1 minute 35 seconds.
