I tried this multiple times and it didn't work for me. I am not sure what the issue was. Any insight?

This battle has a lot of inherent RNG. The first opponent pet may stun you before you do anything. Average expected damage from Moth Balls is 440, but all Moth Balls may hit (880 damage) or none of them may hit. And if you are stunned at the start, you will take two sets of Moth Balls, which with worst possible RNG spells bye-bye for almost any strat.

You may notice that a lot of the strats for this battle start with a Dragonkin like a Nexus Whelpling to mitigate bad RNG with Moth Dust. Maybe try replacing the Servant with a Nexus or a Stormborne Whelpling with Arcane Storm and Mana Surge?

I just tried this myself, and though it worked for me, I can see from a glance at the numbers and from previous experience with this battle that the Servant is the most likely weak link, if you get bad RNG. If the Servant survives to take the second pet's first Toxic Fumes attack before dying, I expect that the Starlette and Chrominius will carry you through the rest. Did your Servant die too soon? That would be important information to help answer your question.

The next most important piece of information would be the breed of Starlette you used. I think a H/H breed would not quite kill Needlenose with a Sypercharged WInd-Up, thogh I'm not certain. However it should have enough Health left to finish the job with Powerballs, I think. Another thing to check!

In general, if you want to report a badly-working strat, or want tips about what went wrong for you, the best you can do is:

1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.

2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript.

3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?

4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.

This worked once for me, but now my first pet keeps getting put to sleep right off the bat.

Line up worked great. I skewed a bit from the turn set though. Instead of using powerball on turn 7, I used wind-up again turn 7/8. After Iron Starlette downed, I picked it back up from there.
