Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

I wonder which opening this came out. On a second thought...

This not only worked perfectly (my Shore Crab B/B ended at 99%), but I was able to swap in a much lower-level undead pet (who was able to survive what the Plague Whelp was dishing out) right after the undead pet resurrected and level it x3.

This works so well that if you get lucky with the backline pets, the crab can not only solo the entire thing, it can end the battle without a single scratch.

Plague Whelps can mess this strat up but it works otherwise. My suggestion would be, if you do get a Plague Whelp, swap to you Nexus Whelp and burn them down. The more turns they're active, the more likelihood your backline will die

I came here to say this. Nexus Whelpling is quicker against Plague Whelp too with Arcane Storm and Mana Surge. Wait for second round to cast Arcane Storm, otherwise it gets overwritten by Cleansing Rain.

Я бы советовал не взмах хвостом, а чародейскую бурю+волну маны.

You may want to add this line at the end to pass when stunned

standby [self.aura(Stunned:927).exists]

long fight but works well. I used emperor crab who solo'd the whole thing this round. My backline pets took no damage (I also added a cogblade raptor for the just in case)

My Shore Crap (H/P) Solo'd it easily (near full health) but both backline pets did die.

On which shore did you pick up this crap? And who's crap is it? Second thought, don't want to know. Shore crab did well though. ;) hee hee

A few suggestions:

1 -- My Shore Crab (H/P) solo'd this, however, doing Renewing Mists before Shell Shield meant there were more rounds than not where I was having to choose between Shell Shield and Renewing Mists, instead of having them come up as needing applications on different rounds. So, I'd suggest doing Shell Shield first, and putting it on again when it has 1 round left.

2 -- If you get a Plague Whelp, your back line will die to Dreadful Breath.

3 -- If you get an Undead pet and your Shore Crab doesn't cut it, you'll want more than Tail Sweep, since it does weak damage to Undead, so maybe a critter in slot #3, or a humanoid in case you get a Plague Whelp and an Undead.
