My best guess is that going below 400 hp is what triggers Conviction to use Dark Rebirth, I had him at 406 at one point, and he didn't do it, but once he Burned under 400 he did.
Sometimes Beauty will crit the Dark Phoenix, in which case the turn order get interrupted a bit, but not so much so that you can't finish the fight. Just bring in your Tendril: Cauterize > Scorched Earth > Deep Burn until Beauty dies. When Conviction comes in, Deep Burn until Scorched Earth is up, then pass DR Newer, faster strategy here. |

At time of writing this, comments warning of required luck are out of date. If you don't have an Flamme inquiétante, it can be substituted with any elemental that is strong against flying pets. Bonus points for ones that can also change the weather. Examples: Flagellant cauchemardesque (2/1/1) Danseur brumejade (2/2/1) Mini-bonhomme de neige (2/1/1) Sang vicié (2/1/*) Ondulin souillé (1/2/1) |

If Prideling dies before beauty restart. It can take 6 quill hits and sunlight with 77 health left. If u get crit don't restart inmediatly. If quills only hits twice u can still survive it.
If u trigger dark rebirth by accident with a (un)lucky crit just bring in your third pet and use whatever untill conviction will die at the end of the next tround (this is current health= 20% total health+ your attack +1hp) then switch to stormling if u want to use this for leveling it's possible since the achievments don't need level 25 in broken isles. u can fail if you get a crit from whirlpool if leveling. Follow the leveling strategy when conviction dies. level pet needs 386 health. (mech, beast and elemental need more). |

This was my first strategy I shared here, and it uses pets that I had leveled at the time. Hopefully it helps some of you.
I edited the strategy to make the instructions more precise and less summarised, and changed the order of some steps to optimise it a bit. If you don't have a Gouttelette d’Y’Shaarj, it can be substituted with any elemental that is strong against flying pets. Bonus points for ones that can also change the weather. This worked mostly as indicated.
1. It does encounter some RNG with Corrupted Blood's health. It consistently came in with roughly ~ 53 hp on Dignity. Any crit from Conviction will have the Stormling facing Dignity by themselves, which is likely doable, but you'll need to make sure you use Sandstorm *after* Dignity uses Cleansing Rain.
On the other hand, the Slicing Wind RNG could make the success of the strat fall if you end up eating two Whirlpools. This can be somewhat mitigated by switching over to Wild Winds, though keep in mind you won't see a DoT tick while Sandstorm is up.
That said, as long as Corrupted Blood can get Elementium Bolt up, and I'm sure they will, Conviction shouldn't be an issue for the Stormling since Conviction will die on the Backline from Dark Rebirth. I haven't had the Blood die, but given the health values it probably will for someone.
2. Given that Cataclysm only has a 50% hit chance, and all mine missed, you might consider using Ooze Touch instead. This will make sure you bring Dignity within kill range of Sandstorm. Whereas, with a Cataclysm miss you will need 1-2 rounds of Slicing Wind, depending on your hit RNG of the move, to finish Dignity.
3. You also don't need Cataclysm's big hit on Conviction, since, even if Elementium Bolt doesn't kill them, Dark Rebirth will kill them on the backline, as it did for me.
