Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

I used this, but swapped in a Micromancer for the marionette, with skills 1-1-1. After using Val'kyr, swapped to Micromancer and used Raise Ally, Haunting Song, and then Dead Man's Party. On my last use of Micromancer (his undead phase) I used Haunting Song again to help make sure my backline was healed up a little bit more. Finished the fight with Emerald Proto-whelp with no problems, didn't even need to heal since I kept Emerald Presence up.

The backline I had to fight was a set of gray maggots, so maybe I got lucky based on what I saw others say here. Hope this helps!

marionette doesnt live past the first use of dead man's party.

DragonsAfterDark

Can you explain what happened? I just checked this, and the Marionette had more than enough hp to survive through all three rounds of Dead Man's Party, as well as apply Death and Decay against the first backline enemy, then Bone Bite before dying.

Same here. The Crimson Spore, Skyfin Juvenile and Dream Whelpling strategy on here by Mutanis worked the first time.

Tried the Crimson Spore strat today but Netherfist did not die in the back row twice in a row, so it seems to have become rng dependent. *sigh* This strat didn't work for me either. Off to the drawing board->... . Edit: the strat by Baocaleb with two spores and a whelpling worked first try - smooth and quick. (edited)
