There is 10% chance for second Ghostly Bite to miss. If that happens just reset the fight. I didn't have Lightless Ambusher leveled up and couldn't make Velinrista's strategy work.
Did few tries with Ghost Shark instead and as far as i can tell t the only RNG here is second Ghostly Bite missing due to Sandstorm. But i guess depending on breeds and if enemies will highroll their attacks few times there might be some incosistancy. |

Tried ~10 times and got 70ish% success rate despite my Croador de interior being Uncommon (green), although there is still a possibility of terrible RNG because of Tormenta de arena giving you a 10% chance of missing, unfortunately I can't think of a way to mitigate that at the minute. Missing against Ídolo Anubisath is almost a guaranteed reset as they'll have time to use a second Tormenta de arena, however they could miss too and end up in a winnable but slightly different scenario.
If Cangrejo ermitaño dies at the same time as Ídolo Anubisath because both you and it missedsimply use Lanza de hielo to break Señuelo and then proceed as normal with Invocar ventisca. Your Escurridizo cantaespina will probably end up taking extra damage as everything will be slightly out of sync but it should be fine, mine survived this scenario despite being an SS breed. I have not tested with alternate pets but others with similar spells should do fine in theory, the most important being quicker than Ídolo Anubisath.I didn't make a TD Script for this, as I would suggest against doing this fight repeatedly with a Water-only team and because Sandstorm can, in case of bad RNG cause some fluctuations, still perfectly winnable most of the time but will require thinking on the go as explained above. |
