I didn't come up with this strategy, but I think it's the best one, if you don't have all day to wait for your Noobisath and Rapana Whelk to get it done. Your Carry pet will take a little damage from Cyclone (250 to 800?)
I am using P/P breeds for both pets, but I'm not sure it matters. It's impossible to predict when Crusher will die, so when he does, swap your Carry Pet, and save Life Exchange for when Glowy comes in (if you need it--you usually don't) |

The level of your back row pet is dependent highly on RNG of the wind hitting it or not. I have leveled pets as low as level 1 with good RNG (I.E. not getting hit, or only hit once). Level 7+ to guarantee not dying.

This is a slightly faster variation of SpuriousLark#1929's strategy (https://www.wow-petguide.com/?Strategy=2238). Because the Snake usually soloes the first two pets, using the emerald protodrake makes the use of defensive ability unnecessary most of the time. Because of vicious bite's static damage, the first emerald bite will bring the last pet into dragonkin racial range even on minimum damage roll and the second will kill it, shaving several rounds off the fight. The script includes a backup strategy, using emerald presence in case the snake dies early due to crits.
The Snake must be S/S for this to work, the Drake can be anything (I tried the script 10 times with the H/S Emerald Whelpling, but P/P breed will result in a two hit instead of a three hit kill more reliably). |

There are four ticks before you use Healing Flame – so you receive up to 348 damage assuming no floating point shenanigans.
There's also damage range of Lift-Off, 280 to 420 damage, and 531 damage from Conflagrate.
That means the whelp needs to survive 811 to 1299 damage taken. Any breed will do, but with the crits (*1,5), it's another story.
For example, to survive a critical strike of Conflagrate (+266), and including the ability's base, your ❤︎ 1400 dragon needs to have received no more than 1133 damage, for comparison an OW can survive having taken 1360 damage (i.e. max outputs of Crimson's abilities + base C + crit to some Cyclone ticks). A difference as little as 65 HP of P/B Spawn does not seem to make a difference, in my opinion.
Stopping there before it becomes hard to follow!
I'm a bit sad that the replacements seem to be on the less safe side, and I hope they didn't confuse you. I really like that going around the Lift-Off. ;-)

Assuming your carry pet is unlucky and gets hit all 5 rounds at max damage (with no crits), that would be 660 damage. I did 2 trial runs and my pet took 246 and 254 damage, so yes, the 800 health is conservative. I'll change it down to maybe around 400, which would allow you to survive 3-4 hits.
Also note that for Dragonkin pets, the damage is only 52 to 87 per round, and for aquatic the damage is 119 to 199 per round, so adjust as needed.

I have a request to you. Could you choose another pet as your first one? Although the finder displays substitutes as it's supposed to, the strats are sorted by pets selected personally by the uploaders. An unobtainable pet will rule this entry out to many players!
