Fragment of Anger is so bis for 3rd pet vs flying. All you need is to pop up Spirit Spikes ( shield ) before moth of balls ... i did 1 st spell than pop up Spirit Spikes and Duster killed him self

You should really include that if Runehoof stuns and prevents the crab from using rot, you need to start over.

Worked first time, used HH Crab and HP Squirrel as @TamiyolsMyWaifu noted. Pretty quick & easy . Thank you. Whelpling was on Undead round when Battle was over. Close!

There is a bit of RNG to this. First time I did this fight, I 'won' but was on my 2nd undead turn, so it was a draw, The second time, I kill the stag with time enough to put the fugal spores AND corpse explode on the moth and my dragon took him down easy with 30% health left.

Did not have a level 25 Soulbroken Whelpling. That is a problem I will soon remedy.

In the third spot I put in Clutch (S/B) (1,2,2).
It demolished the last pet without any undead round needed. (edited)

I had the same idea with the Spirit Crab. I went with Surge in second slot though, using it on round 2 and also to finish Slugger off. It also meant that if I got Rot off on first round vs Runehoof, I could Surge for guaranteed damage the second. I followed it up with an Infected Fawn: Adrenaline Rush to get faster than Runehoof and then Flurry it down. Flurry adds a little more RNG to the fight but it worked okay for me. Used Fragment of Anger in third slot, but really, if your third doesn't have to face runehoof you can use a lot of things; hardest part of the fight is behind you. Really, it feels like this fight is "if Runehoof stuns you with Headbutt you lose."

It took 3 tries but this does work when your Spirit Crab can stay alive and not get stunned to put rot up and a second whirlpool. If the little guy can't then you need to restart.

I used Fragment of Anger as 3rd pet 1-2-2. Spirit Spikes on mothballs destroyed Duster! if u need finish with spiritfire bolt

If u didnt get stunned from Runehoof at all, then your squirrel will survive him after 6th turn and have a time to hurt Duster with Creeping Fungus, Corpse Explosion and one charge of Stampede. But i suggest u might be lucky as me :) (edited)

Great strat when the RNG actually lets it work. I'd suggest making it a requirement that you get a whirlpool off on Runehoof. At least I never succeeded when I didn't because the Squirrel couldn't kill Runehoof on his own.

Got lucky with my breeds, got a second whirlpool up and runehoof died at the end of the first stampede, allowing me to get two turns of stamped in on Duster. Duster died to the first spiritfire bolt, I used hh, hp, sb for my pets in that order.

Wicked RNG. It took 5 tries until Infected Squirrel finally managed to survive Runehoof and Stampede Duster. But eventually it worked! Thanks to Yolo for the TD script, which made all that repetition much easier to bear.
