There's an ongoing test on how to show alternate pets of different families (i.E Explodir only Mechs also showing Flying Exploders etc.) We're still figuring out some things and it definitely should not apply to Family Battler sections. Sorry that you're experiencing this right now.

Yes. You much have Beta features enabled, which is where the testing is ongoing. When I switch Beta off in Site Settings, I don't see other families.
